Here www.scrappydogscooters.com/139QMB_50cc_Performance.html they have stock parts as well . just read up all you can BEFORE buying anything plan on making a mistake as it is easy to do even for use long time wrenchers . So your planing on a BBK and have not even got the scooter yet ? If you want a speedy 50 then hurry and get one of the last 2T or 2 strokes left

I plan to have mine for a long time even though both mine are highly modded, theres not much to these engines, if the crank or piston rings or anything else fails its not the end of the scoot, i'll just replace the stuff and keep on rolling, the parts are fairly cheap even the better quality parts

Correction all 3 of my Tomos pedal mopeds had a two speed tranny like a Chevy Powerglide .
Hank I wanted a SR50 so bad but only had 1,400 and I got lucky my dealer knocked off 200 bucks since I am a repeat customer and refereed several of my buddies to them .
Interested in trying the larger size sliders like Carasdad mentioned in a thread

what site is the best site to find bore kits and upgrade parts for taotao i just ordered a cy50 t3 sorry not stealing your thread Ebay sells them cheap..BUT ya never know what you are getting unless others have dealt with them from here..bought one of their kits and was satisfied. Let me share something with you from my wholesaler in China. Luna visits companies before she contracts part orders from them. If a part does not meet standards it is rejected...stamped with an X or * and sent back for reclaim of the materials. She has seen companies that sell the parts anyway to a shady parts warehouse over there that sell them on Ebay..or have buyers that purchase them very cheap and sell them on Ebay or from shady parts websites. Not just big bore kits that are rejected buy any and all parts. So beware. I myself do parts/repair and sell big bore kits(quality Taiwanese ones she contracts) I sell the 80cc kits for $42. +shipping which is usually $8.00 or less. All the parts I buy from her we run on our family fleet of scoots when they need a part. Here is a pic...My Jonway Hornet 2 stroke is not in the pic. So in a way I am doing QC on what I sell or install for folks. Attachments:

I still have my old 2009 Peace 50 in my moms backyard, its been sitting for about a year and a half.. Im pretty sure the head went bad , thats why I parked it.. (it is a secret 63) How hard would it be to replace the head on it?? Last time I tried to disassemble one of these engines, I couldnt figure out how to get the chain off the cam so I could take it all apart... Also, If I bought one of those 80 BBK kits... how hard are they for someone whos knowledgable but not an expert at the internals of an engine to install??

To take the chain off the CAM you have to take the TENSION-ER off to give the chain some slack. Then take the 4 bolts holding down the rocker Assembly and tilt the cam toward the chain and take the chain off the Sprocket. Alleyoop
