you can use any battery that is 12v that fits in the battery box, jump it with a non running car

I hit it with starting fluid an tried to start it with the kick start a cough or to wasnit...now what is the air/fuel mix screw general set at on a bbk does it change from the simple 2 turn from all the way in?

no two turns is a good starting point don't keep kickstarting it the kickstart will break, charge the battery or jump it, suck the vacuum hose and fill the float bowl, spray it with a the starting fluid then crank it

Could that lil 4ah better just not have enough cranking amps to get it started..it turns over harder now

Because i left that battery on the maintainer about 3 days an it died after just seconds

Ok turned over like a champ with a jump...but still no firing up...i have a compression tester yhat goes up to 100 an it filled the guage i have alot of spark blue in color an hit it with starting fluid a bunch of times an nothing still what could it be now...no weird motor noises is there something else i have to do to this thing after a bbk to get it to turn over?

The timing is just tdc with the crank with the 3 holes face out even, bigger hole in the center....i set both valves at .oo4 . So if those r both correct im clueless...an theres not a scooter mach. In 60 miles.. Is there a possibilty that my valves should be set at something else... When i went to take everything apart the first time my valves were way way looser then the paper thin .004 ...but my piston was cracked bad. My feeler guage that is .004 also says .102 mm...is it possible im useing the wrong feeler guage?
