I would like to get more power without replacing the carb or rejet. I tried removing the 4 hole air cleaner plate and bogs. Too much air i guess. What about adding one more hole?
And the muffler....can I drill a hole or two to get better power and live with stock carb?

ANY changes to airfilter or exhaust require rejetting . I took off the airbox lid for laughs and it bogged so bad I did not leave my drive way . Jets are a few bucks , a carb can be as little as 26 dollars but it better one more and roller weights are cheap . It is not starving for air like it looks like . 2 3/8 holes can yield more flow but you will need a larger main jet . Lighter weights can bring the RPMs up and yield more speed or at least on take off and uphill . Too light it over revs and looses power . Some a heavier weight can yield more top end . It depends on your gearing and how many RPMs it can top at before testing other weights . Many use 5 grams in the 4T 50s

Changing airflow in any way will reguire rejetting. If you know your way around a scooter motor it shouldn't take longer then 10 to rejett from start to finish.

Simply clap the fuel line , unscrew the drain plug in order to drain out the bowl . Then unscrew the bowl and jets are like a hollow screw easy to install . Main jet , lighter rollers is the cheapest and safest mod . To truly get more power you will need a BBK Now you can checkfgor restrictions like the variator washer here www.provoscooter.com/variator-deregulation more tips www.provoscooter.com/tuning

Lowes $4 Be careful, you go to much and you will be soldering up the hole and starting over. You only have to go alittle with this thing.

Feeler gauges?
Also, there isn't one restriction on this bike..checked everything.
