What do you mean Ebay Chinese Parts are fake ? I thought they were genuine Honda GY6 parts ... Ummm they Genuine Honda parts...ya see the Chinese are just very modest..and they don't want to steal the spotlight or money from the high profit margin Japanese... So they stamp Japanese names on them so Japan can at least get the credit for making such high quality items... Oh and btw...about that ocean front Beach House I have for sale in Utah...you still interested?... ;D

Most the ebay parts are low quality, but work long enough to fit the price tag most of the time, I love my china scoots but quite frankly the scoot itself is low quality, have replace almost all the parts with quality stuff to make it a good ride, which i have done

On eBay, I've only bought from Scrappy and a seller called gy6racingteam out of Puerto Rico. Does anyone have experience with the latter? I've bought NCY clutch springs, an NCY torque spring, NCY rear drum brake shoes, and an NCY exhaust gasket from them. stores.ebay.com/gy6racingteam/

I've bought NCY clutch springs, an NCY torque spring, NCY rear drum brake shoes, and an NCY exhaust gasket from them. stores.ebay.com/gy6racingteam/I bought the "NCY HIGH PERFORMANCE TITANIUM VALVE SPRINGS" from him. www.ebay.com/itm/SCOOTER-125CC-150CC-GY6-NCY-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-TITANIUM-VALVE-SPRINGS-/171015238415?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item27d14d730fWhen I received the springs, I weighed them and they weighed more than the original ones! I was also suspicious that they were anodized so checked with a magnet and they were magnetic. Titanium is not magnetic, and never will be either. So I sent them back but the seller says he never got them so I didn't get a refund. It is very possible that he never did receive the springs so I do not know if it's true. But after that I don't buy anything from that dealer.

Just for informational purposes, and I'm not defending the Ebay seller, especially one that claims the part was lost and won't refund, but titanium is a brittle material and would not make for a good spring. what is meant by titanium valve springs is that they are titanium oxide coated on spring steel, hence the color it shows. You may have actually gotten what you paid for. a pure titanium spring would not only break very quickly, but that amount of material would cost hundreds of dollars, at wholesale cost. just FYI!

My big thing about ebay is it lacks the human interaction . Some non ebay vendors are just order fillers clueless of what they sell .

Absolutly, I might of got what I payed for. But, if the springs are oxide coated or an alloy which is fine by me, that should've been mentioned somewhere. And if it's an alloy they should'be weighed less that the original springs. The springs I got was also a lot softer than the original springs. I wouldn't call it "high performance"... I now have springs from Drow Sport which I'm pleased with so far. www.drowsports.com/product/675/Engine/Cylinder_Kit/GY6_Racing_Dual_Valve_Springs_14_000rpm

But, if the springs are oxide coated or an alloy which is fine by me, that should've been mentioned somewhere. And that's what other vendors specifically do, they describe it as "electroplated titanium valve springs", or "electroplated titanium finish valve springs"

So I sent them back but the seller says he never got them so I didn't get a refund. It is very possible that he never did receive the springs so I do not know if it's true. But after that I don't buy anything from that dealer. This time it's "unknown" if he cheated, but if he indeed does to his customers, eventually it will catch-on to him. I was already suspicious about the "minor detail" of "titanium" vs "electroplated titanium finish". The only item i've bought from him is a stator-flywheel removal tool, and "steel" is buttery soft. I think it ruined the threads of the china-scoot flywheel. Both the tool & the flywheel steel are buttery soft. Now, I have to use a Harbor Junk Steering Wheel Remover tool, and some jerry rigged steel bar to leverage the threaded M8 Fan mounting points to salvage this flywheel & stator. Luckily, it's only a parts-engine.
