Looks can be deceiving. If you stripped off all the plastics and removed the rubber. You would probably see much more similarity between the two.

partsforscooters.com has single ones.they say 7mm and they have long or short ones.you should measure yours and give them a call. they are real good, and answer the phone right away.1-866-478-8700. You are looking at parts 151-133 &151-134. they are like 3 and 4.00 each. They use USPS and usually you have your item in two days www.partsforscooters.com

truth be told, you would be hard pressed nowadays to buy anything that is not made in china. They are now the world's premeir industrial superpower.American people are so quick to condemn (me too), but The truth is, Americans do not want to work in any industrial or manufacturing places anymore. I have been in the industrial trade for over 30 yrs, and hired american people who walk off the job at lunchtime or after a couple of days.American kids have become fat, lazy, crude and addicted to their "high tech" devices. The better workers are the immigrants.Thats the way it is. Chinese people are eager to work in ANY job americans are not.

[replyingto=steelace]steelace[/replyingto]I know they are 8mm. I'm not sure if it's 8x1.25 or 8x1.5. You should be able to get a small peice of threaded rod with the same thread.(take it with you to match it up) and simply cut it to the length you need. I would get a few nuts and washers too. You may find that you are better off just to order a set. Then you will have some spares to keep, or give to someone else on the forum with a similar problem ;D Thats what I would do.

maybe a little late, but I make it my policy to never buy from an unknown online dealer that has no physical adress on the website somewhere. I also go so far as to google earth the place, and even go to street view to look at the building, signage etc. this way, you see right up front if it's a house or a mortar and brick facility. The phone numbers can tell you something too. If there is only a toll free, and no local number, stay away. There are plenty of other REPUTABLE dealers out there, and some good ones right here on this site.
