you are not going to get much over 50MPH with any 50cc,no matter what you do to it(if you want to ride it for any decent length of time). If you want faster than that-get a 150.components are beefier.

I put a tiny hole in the gas cap, and it works great.The carb, i think is the same as mine. You need to do some variator and gearing to get a respectable top end. I'm good with riding 40-45 MPH. Not much need to go faster.No need to go with that carb, It'sfor a 150. stick with the KeiHin.and jet as needed.

It's not the carb. it's the fuel switch(petcock) when you run wot, vacuum goes way down. I had the same problem with my stock carb. Put in a manual petcock and you may need to drill a very small hole in the gas cap.(1/8" or less) I did, and the bowl never ran dry again.I now have that same carb, and it's fine with my 50mm BBK.

That's a really nice looking scooter. I bet it handles great. I don't know about your neck-of -the-woods, but up here, ACE hardware stores offer custom color spray cans. they will mix any color for you, and put it into a spray can. You might want to look into that.  Also,I would paint the lid, and keep the box black . |

Cars are getting so bad now, they can even park themselves some can drive themselves. My opinion is, the more "innovation" the less the driver skill necessary. I like to control my vehicles.I don't want to see bikes become like cars, with all the creature comforts. Then what would be the allure to riding? I think i want a horse |
