It's not the carb. it's the fuel switch(petcock) when you run wot, vacuum goes way down. I had the same problem with my stock carb. Put in a manual petcock and you may need to drill a very small hole in the gas cap.(1/8" or less) I did, and the bowl never ran dry again.I now have that same carb, and it's fine with my 50mm BBK.

If your carb is running empty it's not a carb problem, you probly have a bad fuel filter or petcock. I believe they come stock with 18mm carbs but if your gonna upgrade go with a keihan 19mm

Whats your top speed and setup? Also, I tried running it with the tank connected directly to the carb with the same results

[replyingto=jjoshua20213]jjoshua20213[/replyingto]Setup is in the signature.top speed is 48-50 mph.flat ground.chase car verified.your tank may need a tiny bit of extra venting. I put a tiny hole in the gas cap, and it works great. The carb, i think is the same as mine. You need to do some variator and gearing to get a respectable top end. I'm good with riding 40-45 MPH. Not much need to go faster. No need to go with that carb, It'sfor a 150. stick with the KeiHin.and jet as needed.

I got 3 stock 6.2 and 3 dr.pully 4gram sliders. bike went faster before bbk but took awhile getting there. now it gets to 40 fast then sticks between 41-43 unless going down hill.

you are not going to get much over 50MPH with any 50cc,no matter what you do to it(if you want to ride it for any decent length of time). If you want faster than that-get a 150.components are beefier.
