All you should need to do is get a manual petcock and maybe drill a small hole in the gas cap thats what I did, and it has never run dry again even with my bbk at wot. Don't forget to plug the unused vacuum line if you do change the pump.

I would put something there, maybe even cover the whole floor with clear vinyl. It's going to fill up with dirt and grit real fast.Maybe you can glue some heavy monofilament line around the lid to seal off the crevice.or some black plastic or rubber thats 1/8 to1/4" bigger all the way around the cover. You could even stuff some black yarn into the area around the cover. just peel it out and replace it when you open the battery box.

The part you are describing is called a sheave. (shiv) there are two, a fixed and a moveable It sounds like you need a spring base.

sounds like everything is fine has to be a tester issue The two outside screws don't need to be torqued they should be the first two you tighten. Be careful, I've broken them in the past. don't overdo it.

valves are closing tightly and properly gapped? Is the cylinder wall visibly scratched or damaged finally, are the studs properly torqued 15 lb/ft? Also no restrictions on the intake or exhaust? try it with no exhaust and no intake manifold. also try to hold your finger in the plug hole when cranking. Should be dam near impossible.

not if you need to remove any small screws. 10 mm being the smallest, I think the set would be a waste of money for you.try to cut it off first.

I would like to see better bearings, better hardware and better body panels. Real metal instead of chrome plated plastic. You do realize that "real metal" would significantly add to the weight, and significantly rob from performance.this is counterproductive to all engineering of fuel efficient machines.
