I'm good enough to do that but won't have time. IT gets rather tricky when you start having to use depth maps to lay a logo/emblem over a two-d made three-d shape. Yes you could get away w/o using those, but it won't look as good. logos im not worried about, gonna get decals and smacc em on, i may just end up finding someone locally who can paint plastics, though i'd rather do it myself. i have the ideas in my head but actually DOING it i constantly second guessing myself. figured it be best to have it on "paper" as a follow along |

I use reflective tape, both on helmet and bike. I just ordered some stealth kind (black during day, reflects light during night as white light). I'll make various designs from it and stick it to my matte black helmet and to the body of my bike. if you dont mind posting up the link for that tape, i would like to check it out. I dont plan on riding at night, but hey you never know and its always best to be safe than sorry |

tore the patella tendon...wife was hysterical wanted to dismantle the whole thing and toss it in the dumpster...she got over that and allowed me to keep it. i wasnt on the highway or in traffic i was actually in the parking lot. no major damage to the scoot, scratches and a broken mirror otherwise shes still good |

Not sure if this is the right section or not for this.
Because I am down and out for a while due to me bringing my scoot down I wanna begin the paint process of my scoot. My only problem is not sure as to EXACTLY how I want to do it. I do know I want to go with silver and black (Oakland Raiders).
I was wondering if anybody is any good with photo shop that if i sent them pictures of my scoot could they give me some different paint schemes? You would help a brother out tremendously.

i've heard a lot of bad things regarding scrappy as well, BUT what I have heard is that whatever it is that you see online call ahead of time to make sure that they have it in stock so you have a faster delivery time.
I have yet to order from them i'm an ebay shopper (well my wife is) i tell her exactly what i want she finds it, double checks it with me then orders. We never place bids and try and win, if its not buy now we dont buy.

Can I blame this forum for waisting money while I'm up for the 3am feed? Just bought some "nose art" for the scoot purely because of this thread. Who should I send the bill to? Lol. I was thinking one on the nose, one on the tail, one either side of my helmet? Ian loving these Pin ups reminds me of an old school garage. where did you order em from and do they have other styles? |

I was looking at the same cdi and plug. Not to sure if I wanna buy there or from someone here in the US who already has an established relationship with those overseas. If you do order it let me know how long it took and anything else...

We definitely have the 157qmj without the 16 inch rims...on mine at at least its still 10 inch rims and there is no BN in front of the 157...

[replyingto=steelace]steelace[/replyingto]you and i have the exact same scooter. the only place i have found thus far that offers parts for our scooter is absolutelyscooterparts.netor ebay which even there is very limited. one of the hardest things i found to get where the mirrors for this one and the damn headlight bulb which was a 12v 25/25w... I hear that the Tank Touring EXE and Kayman Shark have interchangeable parts? not to sure but worth looking into. not to sure how many besides you and i have this model, but i guess we can learn together on it...lmao |
