No plans in the near future of going performance. Just want to keep it all stock, my daughter is already eyeing it as her own for when she turns 16 in 3 years. So I want to keep it plain jane

its none of the lights (double checked to make sure) though I do have a bulb out. Wont ride at night anyway. Where did you get the image from? Though its small it looks as if belongs to the starter relay (green and yellow) but would that not effect it from starting? because it fires with no problem now, just idles rough

Brake lights work both from pulling the front brake as well as stepping on the rear brake...made the wife check before I pulled of...
as for the electric start its how I fire it up. never used the kickstart as my center stand is in the way (on my to do list)
Never been good with electrical but I guess its time I get to knowing and find a wiring diagram for this

So I got the ol girl fired up today. Changed the vacuum lines, fuel lines and fuel filter and she fired right up. She does idle rough and not sure where/how to correct that issue...took her down the rode and she floated. There is however before the ride I noticed a wire coming off of the throttle. Thought it may have effected me riding but it didn't. But for the love of me can't figure out where it leads to...

One thing see the fuel line coming down to the Fuel Filter, that should NOT be lower than the Carbs Fuel Inlet. You have a Gravity fed fuel system so shorten that hose coming from the fuel tank and make it a straighter shot to the carb fuel inlet. You do not want anything lower than the fuel inlet on a gravity fed system. I see it has a ground wire on the Valve cover top bolt make sure it is clean and clean where it attachs to the frame. If it has a bad ground to the motor it will not spark. Also make sure the killswitch is on the RUN POSITION and the SIDE STAND is up some have a killswitch on the Side stand and if it is down it will not spark. Check those things and then either get a spare plug or take the one in there out and check for spark. Hold the plug against the valve cover and crank it and see if it is firing. Alleyoop Thanx Alleyoop Tuesday that will be the first few items on my agenda. I read elsewhere you used a certain fuel filter but cant seem to find that post again

After my previous post she fired up for me took it a minute but she did. soon as I let go of the throtte she went dead on me.
