So I got the ol girl fired up today. Changed the vacuum lines, fuel lines and fuel filter and she fired right up. She does idle rough and not sure where/how to correct that issue...took her down the rode and she floated. There is however before the ride I noticed a wire coming off of the throttle. Thought it may have effected me riding but it didn't. But for the love of me can't figure out where it leads to...

That looks like one of the live wire that feeds: 1. Your brake lights 2. The live wire that feeds juice to the SOLENOID for Electric start. Alleyoop

Brake lights work both from pulling the front brake as well as stepping on the rear brake...made the wife check before I pulled of...
as for the electric start its how I fire it up. never used the kickstart as my center stand is in the way (on my to do list)
Never been good with electrical but I guess its time I get to knowing and find a wiring diagram for this

Did you try the TURN SIGNALS? It could also be the turn signal wire. Alleyoop

its none of the lights (double checked to make sure) though I do have a bulb out. Wont ride at night anyway. Where did you get the image from? Though its small it looks as if belongs to the starter relay (green and yellow) but would that not effect it from starting? because it fires with no problem now, just idles rough

That is what I also thought the Starter Relay(SOLENOID)! does the right brake send juice to the Solenoid when you squeeze it and hit the start button? Just google for WildFire wiring diagram and a whole bunch will come up. Alleyoop

HAHAHA, well just make sure everything works. OH another thought maybe it's for the ENRICHER, Maybe that is why it is not idleing to smooth to much gas even after it has warmed up and the enricher is not getting juice to EXTEND and cut off the EXTRA fuel. Check if the ENRICHER gets warm or hot after the motor starts. Alleyoop

No plans in the near future of going performance. Just want to keep it all stock, my daughter is already eyeing it as her own for when she turns 16 in 3 years. So I want to keep it plain jane

Alleyoop So I fired her back up and let her run for roughly 5 minutes...the enricher was warm to the touch...not satisfied it pulled the enricher out and laid it on its side like one of your videos and it did start to extend while my finger was over the hole

Good so we now know the enricher is good and that STUPID YELLOW and GREEN wire is not that. But the diagram shows it may also be for the turn signals did you check the turn signals out. I cannot think of anything IF all you lighting is working, How about the KILLSWITCH did you test that out as well. I mean it has to do with something controlled by that right handle bar switchs UNLESS it could be for the light switch. Do you have a light switch and does it DO ANYTHING or is it a dummy. It could be because of regulations the lights now come on when the key switch is turned on and the wire was part of the light switch. In which case not to worry it is a spare wire you could also test it for juice and see if it is live with the key on and off.
Parts for just about any chinese scoot are everywhere, it is the body panels that are hard to find for each specific style scoot. But other than that anything to make it run is readily available. Alleyoop

We're also talking about Chinese scooters here.
It could just be a mistake by the person who put it together and didn't care and just left it.

My scoot has wires like that on both sides. They are "extra" turn-signal wires on mine, meant to plug into extra signal-lights in the mirrors. While my "manual" is mostly worthless, it DID tell the owner to connect those mirror-signal lights... AMAZING!
Could be yours are for a similar purpose? Like you said, "We're also talking about Chinese scooters here." OOOOHHH, YEAH...
Enjoy the ride!
