New fuel filter , but the oil does not have a real "filter" . it has a screen that usually doesn't have to be replaced , just cleaned out. Air filter bud, ordered a new air filter Oh yeh , that filter , lol. Was it covered in oil ?

it is going to take you some trial and error to get it right. Use google and watch some videos on it. most of these scooters are a 157QMJ, if you google where to find it you can see videos on that as well. you can make these to ride so much better than stock, I tried a bit of everything and now I think I know what works... so I can give you my opinion but you are looking to around $700 if you want to gain about 10MPH top speed on flats, and probably gain 20MPH when going up hills. Once you remove the emission system I would start with upgrading to a: Hoca 30mm Slide carb 50mm UNI filter 30mm NCY intake manifold Exhaust NCY Teflon coated Variator 11 Grams sliders NCY Gen 3 or 4 clutch 1500 Clutch spring SNOWFLAKE Clutch Bell That should run you around $500 if you then want to take full advantage you get a Taida 61MM big bore kit with matching head. I would advise with forged piston. just so you know what you are getting your self into. I wish I could gain 20 mph UP hill !!

Sylvrekat, I know it's a bit after the fact now, but why didn't you have your feet done in separate sessions? A ways back, the GF had her bunions done in separate operations. (V cut, plate & screws plus some shaving of the bones) Some of the pain meds had her feeling icky and nauseous... even causing crying spells... poor thing. I felt so bad for her. But at least she had one good foot to stand/bear weight on while healing between operations. 2nd op was not as bad since we knew what to expect and had devised better ways to mange things... plus meds that wouldn't make her so sick. Once upon a time I had hernia repair done. My back would ache from being bent over... It would hurt like the dickens if I tried to stand or sit upright. They were giving me something called Fiorinol IIRC. It would make my toes feel warm then that would be followed by a wave of warm that would rush from my toes to the top of my head then fade away eventually from a fuzzy, buzzing warm sensation. Weirdest sensation I'm telling you, but it was the only way I could get the muscles to stretch without making me feel like I was being ripped apart at the incisions. Glad that finally passed... it was getting to be quite annoying. I dabbled in weed as a teen from peer pressure, but couldn't afford to ever buy any... didn't like it anyway. I never did like not being clear headed and in control so it was easy to stay away from. Of course there was the beer drinking when I was a young man, but again I didn't like being in an uncoordinated state with stupid things being said and almost as a bystander hearing myself say nonsense and not being really able to stop it. Now, like you, I enjoy red wine with steak, white wine with cheese & crackers while I watch a movie on TV and ice cold beer with pizza or a burger. Always with food; as an enhancement to the meal, not to get any buzz from it... I never got into that literally pissing the life away state of affairs. I worked 33 years in psychiatric hospitals and saw up close the pain and ruin that drug & alcohol abuse and addiction would bring to people... and not just the individuals themselves, but for their family, friends and co-workers as well. (if they were so fortunate as to be able to even keep & hold a job) Anyway, glad to hear you are going to be getting back to having happy feet again. Heal fast. Luckily I was off the drugs before my kids were born . I did lose a couple cars and many material things along the with who knows how many thousands of $$ . when you are paying $50 - $70 for an 80mg oxy and your taking 2 a day " when possible" actually I don't remember going more then a day or two without atleast one in the three years I was using, so what a waste of time and money. Icouldnt imagine putting my kids through the problems that addiction comes with. Kat , glad to see you are getting some relief and I hope all goes well.

Wow a 20 pole stator !!! Your gonna have the fastest , quickest, most reliable scoot in the US !! No kidding. The 30mm carb will be just fine for your setup. Do u know what size jets you are starting off with. I'd prob start with a 135 main and go from there. Maybe a 42 pilot ?

What exactly is the emission control parts that are not needed? If I go with a pod filter or like a k&n style filter do I have to rejet the carb? Also any clue what motor this has in it, with the countless Chinese scooter meters out there I wanna order some performance parts on ebay but wanna make sure I order for the right motor If you look under the left side of the engine " that is the left side if you were sitting on it " , there is an engine code. Something like "157qmi"

Looks cool. But also very uncontrollable to ride. The rider looked like he was in a Superman pose. I would choose a basic Harley cruiser over that everyday. Yeh, it does look uncomfortable. I just like the looks and how they made a hubless motorcycle wheel.

For most of that get addicted to the opiate pain meds , it gives them energy. I would give me the great all is well and warm feeling , but at he same time it would give me energy . it puts many to sleep , but for most of the addicts I've talked to , it had had he opposite affect. You feel you have energy but you are not really that sharp when on it and then after you try to move the mountain it makes you think you can move it all crashes on top of you. I dumped it all especially at the first signs of liver swelling. A buddy of mine could always tell when I was high from opiates. We would be painting the outside of a house and I would be flying up and down the ladder sweating my as- off , lol. Percs and vicodine have a lot of Acetaminophen " Tylenol" which destroys the liver pretty darn quick . there are pain meds , such as " vicoprofen" which is a vicodine with ibuprofen instead of Tylenol.

Morphine give you a warm all is well feeling and really frightened one user I knew and one dose was all it took to get her to swear off recreational drugs all together which was what we were trying to convince her to do. For her one dose put her in a place that she never wanted to leave which gave her the willies when it started wearing off so she refused any more doses and toughed it out afterwards and has been free for about 30 years now. She thought she was artistic and talented when she was on and found that she is more artistic with a clear focused mind. For most of that get addicted to the opiate pain meds , it gives them energy. I would give me the great all is well and warm feeling , but at he same time it would give me energy . it puts many to sleep , but for most of the addicts I've talked to , it had had he opposite affect.
