Seaform is what i use and i have not had to work on my scooters carb.- 3 years running. Like Jim, i too was in auto repair and the Maco guy gave the shop owner a free can. The shop owner asked me to use it on the shops loaner car (80's Buck skylark S/W) that was in need of a tune-up. I laughed and told him im going to flag .5 Hr's for this BS, he said fine and off i went. I did just what it said to do on the can to be fair and it worked very well to my surprise.
That's what sold me and it does what it says it does.

I doin't understand just how hard you people make a simple oil change in to "the bible". To the OP: You have a high end scooter-- Change the oil to the brand and type your scooter Dealer recommended (are you under warranty?) It's Plain and simple, if you can afford the ride, you will not Break the bank doing the Correct service to your ride and you will thank yourself in the long run. You Treat your scooter well and it pay's you back with years of fun. ===================== [Jump's off his soap box]

Mine was a 63cc, you can know if you're going faster than 45MPH on a long stretch with engine warmed up, and tires pumped up. Most if the 50cc's don't surpass 40MPH, perhaps do 42 tops. Over-inflat the.. OK. But Better rubber is better road. What rubber do you use Pro d? (smile) .

Are you saying that this bolt is a second drain plug and that's the drain plug you were showing me? This bolt is on the left side of the engine and the other pic I posted is on the right side pointing down. If this is the one then I will get that drain plug you showed me and take the magnets off the other plug. This is from my Scooter. Yes, that is the drain plug im referring to. The magnetic drain plug just replaces it and fit's like a glove on the Gy6-50.

Look on the Left side. (Drain plug is silver) Sorry the photo is a bit dark, the silver looking plug is the drain plug. I take out both drain plug's every time i do an oil change. It's a Win,Win with the old Honda (GY6-50) clone, you can take out both drain plugs, and flush the crank case if you need to. (smile)
