Just here to remind you, if your battery turns out bad, dont immediately go out to get a new one!
First put on some plastic gloves, and open the battery cells, to see id there's still enough fluid in.
If not, just refill with distilled water. Then wash hands with soap, as battery acid is very corrosive, and can eat through skin in a few hours!
I don't know if there exist any battery additives like sulfur, for sale?
But just refilling could just do the trick to make it last another year or two!
