Thanks for the input guys. Do you think a U-lock or a disc brake lock with alaram would provide better protection?
My concern is when I leave it on the street during the day while at work in Chicago. I don't think it's likely a truck will pull up and drag it in a truck as there are a lot of people around and cameras everywhere. More concerned with somebody walking up and hacking at it and driving off with it. I'm leaning towards the disc brake with alarm because if it's start going off I don't people will mess with it with so many people around.
Over night I have it parked safely in the garage.

Guys,
I was wondering if you also use some type of U-lock or any other lock on your scooter? I have a Vino with the wheel/steering column lock that is built in but now I have to park on the street in Chicago while at work and I think I need to add extra security.
If you do use one, which would you recommend a U-lock, disc lock, or a disc lock with an alarm? I can’t do a cable since they are few poles.
Thank you

Anyone ever used Startron? I was debating this or Sea Foam.

Hi guys, I just bought it and it is my first scooter so please help me out here. It’s a 2008 Yamaha Vino 125 with 1,300 miles on it. The last oil change was done with 600 miles on it. I live in Chicago and I will be driving it to work mainly which is 3 miles round trip. I’ll be using it in temps mostly from 45- degrees. Knowing that info what type of oil would you recommend? I saw in the manual it recommended either a 10w30 or 20w40 dino if I read correctly. Do you recommend doing the dino or should I use synthetic? Should I do a 20w40 or 15w40 oil since I’ll be driving it mainly in warmer temps and shorter trips? Would you recommend any other services at this point? Transmission oil change? Spark plugs or carburetor related? Keep in mind this is my first scooter and my knowledge is limited. Thank you for your help
