i made a lift for my scoot. like 2 ft high, all wood. just walk it up on. put on center stand. it was easy for me to make and im worse at wood working then i am at repairing scoots.

I will be careful though, the last thing I need is a ticket for noise. no the last thing you need is burnt valves riding it for any period can burn 'em out or maybe u get lucky

it could a number of so many things,
look at the fuse coming right off the battery, actually just replace it anyways, with a better 'holder' and fuse.
could be a ground wire, came loose could be the plug, the plug wire, the CDI. the stator could be the battery.
need to get out the multimeter and start checking

i am NOT a mech
BUt i dont think you should ride it like that.
it needs some back pressure from the muffler.
wait till a REAL mech chimes in

. Guess it's my fault for not catching it on my PDI. NOT just the PDI. i check IMPORTANT bolts and nuts all the time. not every ride, i'd never get to ride, but once a week or 2, is always a good idea.
at least you didnt get hurt or wreck the scoot.

Man, I would love to ride maggi to Colorado Springs ( I grew up there) and cruise the garden of gods and pikes peak highway. I have been to the summit many times and used to do the march of dimes walk-a-thon through the garden of the gods when I was in school. I have also climbed to the top of the kissing camels. Roy garden of the gods, manitou springs, pikes peak wow what a throw back for me. we went to Ft Carson for 1 year.
such a beautiful area i think garden of the gods is so very spiritual , snow on the PEAK most of the summer. WOW wish we could of stayed longer
we had a apt way up, gee forget the name of the road, but it went past the air force academy , and the AF base.
