I put on the head gasket but these 2 parts dont line up with anything and actually hang out from the side of the cylinder body and head. is that normal?

I tore down my cfmoto v5 and i am in the process of rebuilding it. In my haste to get it torn down i didnt mark what hoses went were, So does anyone have a diagram for the vacuum lines and where they go? i cant seem to find any. Or can someone be so kind as to take a picture of the carb and such so i can see what goes where. thanks On an alternate note the person who owned it before me was running it with no thermostat in it. At all, the housing was empty.

Temp sensor

I have a cfmoto 250 and my rad fan wont turn on, however it will when its shorted. I replaced the sensor in the radiator but i think that might be the temp sensor for the gauge, not for the fan, is that correct? Do i need to replace the sensor in the thermostat housing?

Just saw this post... Have a bone! You MUST have one of the best "handles" on the site! Most of my Jewish friends are pretty super... Haha thanks! turns out the bike needs to top end rebuilt but its ok. I got a rebuild kit for 150 bucks. It is the best of both worlds. you cant tell its got a scooter motor in it!

I had to replace the engine in my 04 Reflex recently. The old engine had compression of 130psi & it couldn't move my 290lbs over the curb, I later found out that the compression should have been in the 228-230psi range. Which is what I have now with my replacement engine. ok thanks.

the manual says 15.0 kg f/c m but what would that register on a compression test In pounds? i have a 250cc CF moto v5 I think i might need top end rebuild. Only a single cylinder so i cant test the others

No i didnt, could it perhaps be because i am using 50/50 coolant and its to thin? its not a very fast leak. Do these seals need to break in? I also noticed that the fan is not kicking on. I know the fan works as i have jumped it already and it kicks on. I will be ordering a switch to replace that. Do you know if the coolant will leak when i change that switch? You should use 50/50 antifreeze and the fan not working may be why the engine got so hot. I don't know where the switch is located so I don't know how much coolant will leak out when you change it. My mechanical seal was not leaking bad, my oil seal was. After I changed them both, I have not seen anything leaking out of the weep hole. I would not expect to see any out of yours either. AFAIK they do not need to break in I am not leaking oil i am leaking coolant. Will a bad oil seal cause coolant to leak? I changed out the oil seal when i changed out the mechanical seal.
