let me talk about mine for a second here then maybe you can understand if you set them side by side. mine is a honda elite af16e engine code. sym and kymco copied this motor. well. probably not this model. they upgraded and made af18e. the upgrades are NOT the motor, the engine. engines still fits the other bores. did have a bigger boost port. doesnt matter, unless you dont boost port match. but it still runs. either way. i dont konw i have an af16e. eh.. they upgraded, well, carb, airbox, it was also only japanese and canadian market. whatever the body panels all im interested in heere in the motor. and the final drive. and cvt differences. like, i guess, the belt. it usually tells you and which case it fits to long or short. them are the things that get screwed up on chinese bikes. but on hte af18e they also upgraded, or changed, the cvt. now these mods, can be squirmed into af16e bike. including body panels. the frames didnt change. thats the thing. or maybe they did. you can modify, i think the gas tank. was moved. i dont konw if you need to modify anything. i havent done it. or maybe it wasnt. they did later. still using the same engine. most of the rest of the stuff stayed the same too. i think af18e used a fuel petcock. so. im asking about, 3 things here then. there how you take them apart and put them together. each of these usually stay the same. if people switch these things around, you can useually use a whole version as a mod, for a different bike. ..... whatever. ... then thats just whatver. you do it. and dont ask me how to fix that. now. is there any comprehension to chinese bikes? do qmb 4 stroke and qmb 2 strokes, match cvt? gears? what about engine size differences? im i guess talking about the yamaha clone and the qmb's. since i dont know much about the 4 strokes. but are there cvt, final drives, matching? and long case short case, just belt length? af18e is a Honda clone...the Dio..4 stroke and 2 stroke gears will not mate...

by the way i already contributed. too. a 10 inch rim honda elite, with 8.4:1 ratio, and a kickbutt motor, can go 75mph. on them gears. want a video of that? so, maybe yu can go from there, you know. i dont know. hyow yoru gears are geared. these are secondary gear swaps. Ok 'Point man'..you are walking in a virtual mine field of info...what do you have..what do you want..and what is your question?.. We can help you...even though as you said we are dumb.. alleyoop..liked that video..was that round thing a wheel or doughnut? I am to stupid to know. But I do like doughnuts. BUT there is a flaw in the design...that wheel..did you not notice...it is flat on both outer sides..now how the is that gonna roll?..omg.. Do know..yer not on my Christmas card list this year after that!.. Ok but that is only because we Chippewa do not celebrate Christmas..because every day our Mother Earth gives us gifts...so we celebrate every day.. do all qmb gears interchange? Go find out...you already said we were too dumb to know QMA from QMB. So golly..we just don't know. As you said we are too dumb!! Guys like you..in my Platoon..we made the point man. Cross a Ravine or crest a hill..hear machine gun fire...with him in front...Mr Attitude is now a eulogy I had to write.. But..on the bright side..we knew to take a different route.

do shortcase, longcase gears swap. thats why i asked all about motors and stuff. and im looking here. theres different kinds of these motors. just wondering which ones swap put. i read on there, scrapp... hat qj might not fit. what about all the different, qma qmb all that do yu guys know nothing? what copies are these copies of thats what im asking if you dontknow. then why buy ? and heres an idea. if ratio, like means, clutch spins to spin back tire. so 10:1 is 10 clutch spins. if the gears, are teh same, people usually run a pretty big motor going 75mph on 8.4:1 gearing ratio. on a honda elite. u can go down to 7:1 but it gets pretty crazy. low down speed is slower takoff Umm..what was that about?..confused me...and to ask if we know ...you assume we are stupid?.. Not a good way to start out if you want answers. Am I stupid?..Well I have one of these in the pic..do you?.. alleyoop is about THE sharpest tack in the box as well as many others here..Hank...skuttadawg and many more..so if you doubt them...you doubt reality. Why so p!ssy?...wow.. I love showing my Mensa card..cause it proves...on that given day...I was highly intelligent..in order to pass an IQ test...but was too stupid to realize it cost me 50 bucks... Hey do me a favor..retype in a civil manner what you wish to know. I entertain intelligent questions..with intelligent answers..21 years retired USMC combat Medic here... lesson #1 we learned.. Not what you said before ;D But either way going 10 down is still to much you will be pushing that thing to get it going and you will need really high rpms to turn the Variator fast enough. But you do what you want just trying to let you know ahead of time it will be a dog starting off and getting up to speed. Alleyoop Don't want to see you doing one of these numbers I'm still confused because Mo at scrappy just told me they would be fine. I gave him all the numbers. so I'm baffled. Surprised MO would suggest that. I talk to him lots...a gold mine of info..so it may work great for ya.. btw you are getting your package from me today... ..woo hoo... 9114901075742419497741 Priority Mail® Out for Delivery May 11, 2013, 8:12 am MOORESVILLE, IN 46158 Expected Delivery By: May 11, 2013 USPS Tracking / Delivery Confirmation™

DX 2 up and 2 down can typically yield up to 15% depending on whether you swap primaries or secondaries. 32% gearing..with a 40% increase from the BBK looks good on paper...well PC NotePad and PC Calculator..these days nobody owns paper anymore. But you have to as alleyoop said you will need higher rpms. Then you have friction(inevitable on earth except in a vacuum) i.e. gear friction..tires rolling resistance. Then Mother Nature tosses in wind drag..which is not calculated in a linear fashion. 32% is really steep. Yes I know the folks on the phone told you to get the set you are getting. But is best to do your own math and instill your own knowledge than to take advice from a person that takes phone orders. That is what made Ron Popeil so wealthy with his company..'Ronco' It is his sales pitch. Also false statements that he invented the product. Ok he is an inventor..BUT..the items he sells are not his. Inventors in China sell them to him...that is why they are so cheap and... "BUT WAIT...if you call right now I will send you a second set ABSOLUTELY FREE" He can afford to..Chinese stuff is low cost. Anyway that 32% is steep..so let us know. alleyoop...did the math..the set you are installing is as you know...very plausible...so also let us know how it comes out.. Glenn
