Got everything hooked back up, and it fired right up after the second try. Funny thing is that has me worried is that it made a loud slapping sound, so we shut it off immediately! What would that be? Valves were set at .004 My friend that did the install, is on the way over now. I'll keep everyone updated. What was that sound though?

My motor was completed today. Puting it back in, and connecting everything now. We're putting in Rotella 15-40 oil in it. Would this oil be fine?

I run octane non-ethanol. If I were you, I would just run , These little tanks don't hold much, so price shouldn't be a problem.

I got stuck working all night tonight and when I went to leave I didn't have a headlight light. So I switched to high beams for the trip home and BLINK, that one burned out too. What I've been noticing the last week or so is that I'm almost hitting the 16 volts red-line on the volt meter gauge. I don't recall it being that high before. My scoot only has 310 miles on it. So is the high voltage to blame for blowing the bulbs or is just the cheap 12v 35/35W Chinese bulbs, or perhaps some other reason? Anything I can check? Thanks in advance for any input. Bill That has happened to me a few times when my lights went out at night. Guess I need to replace my voltage regulator too. Just keep you a good quality LED flash light with you so you can see on the way home.

I have extra various body plastics laying behind my building, I just found a front nose for an Eagle style that is blue and silver with good clear light lenses, no cracks, I'm going to do some custom work to fit it. Im sure with all my zip ties and aluminum metal strips, and parts that I have, I could make this look representable, of coarse I will have to repaint it. I'm going to attempt my custom body work, while my other guy finishs my motor. If anybody wants to help or chime in, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure if some body or plastics are interchangeable. I want to make my scoot look better to go compliment my new motor. I'm gonna try the Hunter style/Eagle style, or the Star style, or the Aeolius style. All I want is something sportier looking. I'm tired of my Handsome Boy look or the common "ViP" look. I am good at building and making stuff fit, so this might not be a problem. I'm just going to change the front part of my scooter, and keep the sides, seat, and back plastics the same. It will probably be Red/chrome or Black/chrome in color. If anybody wants to chime in as to where to get the body/plastic parts let me know. I have looked on Scrappys, and might get some stuff there.

I went ahead and put this nitrous kit together on the scoot. using a .018 jet spraying dry into the inlet....initial tests are promising!...very noticeable power at the push of a button is a huge plus! ....I hope to get into the 3's (50m sprint) with this setup......right now in the mid 4's on motor. There doesnt seem to be too much info floating around concerning GY6's and nitrous ....so Im just playing it by ear here. Is there anyway that I can get front body plastic like on yours to fit mine? That looks awesome! I just want the front plastic. I have a front body plastic off an old spare scooter that I may try to configure to fit. My Style is the Handsome Boy ViP style, it is easy to take off. I will try this today.
Here is a video to demonstrate the difference with and without nitrous. 6-7 1/10ths difference in a 50m sprint!

Rod knock I figured, wish you was closer I'd do it for free. My guy doing my assembly said that my exhaust valve is bent, dangit! He said that he most likely has some spare valves.
