So what ever happened? Did you find a way to transport it? Or what? >'Kat i gave up on the idea when i couldn't get my friend to help. probably best since i'm not even sure where i would have stored it. limited on space, i need smaller money making projects.

Feathering the clutch (if you're on their Rebels) sux. think we can request a scooter. although i wouldn't mind learning to shift but mostly just want to pass first time around.

been planning to take this course for awhile. today i noticed they are offering the class for $225 for select dates. i think i am going to jump on this promotion. it is the cheapest i have seen in this area. i'll need to take some time off work which i really don't want to do but i need to get this class behind me.
any last minute advice besides "don't fall"?

maybe someone can help you figure out what is draining your battery. wish i could help but i'm rather clueless with electrical issues. but it should hold a charge for weeks without issue.

Gonna order a crankshaft Thursday trying to decide which to get 2.2, 2.5, 3, 4 or 6mm. Trying to avoid the chain don't fit issue if I have to modify the cam chain tensioner and use a longer chain id rather go all out and do a 6mm and shave the bottom of the piston. Got two days to decide want to do a 3mm with stock chain but I've read many stories about the chain is to short after the spacer and gaskets. Like I said if I got to get a longer chain id make my work worthwhile and go big. how much more power do you expect with the 3mm? maybe 5%? and 10% with the 6mm? i have little idea but i am assuming you would get double the power gain over the 3mm so might as well if you don't mind the added cost for the 6mm. regardless i hope you get some pics or better yet a video of this difficult upgrade. your scoot is gonna be bad-xxx!

i use to drive 3 miles to use the closest ethanol free pump but it became an inconvenience. it is the exact opposite direction of most of my destinations so i been putting ethanol in my scoot for the last 5 months (give or take). performance seems the same but i've heard it can gum up your carb. no big deal imo, rather clean the carb once or twice a year than waste 10-20 extra minutes per week driving to that pump. not to mention the price difference.

Me and Buford are friends he makes my heads for my race projects i send him all the pieces, you will have to go through scrappys just make sure you tell them that you want bob in pa to make yours. I'll post many pics and maybe a vid once all the parts are in it will be a bit before I get all the parts. so Bob isn't the only one porting these heads for scrappy? after doing a little research it seems the head is probably the most important part to get the maximum out of your engine. saving my pennies now.

is this the bbk you're installing? scooterelements.ecrater.com/p/18557368/taida-61mm-big-bore-kit?keywords=taida+61mmi can't wait to get my 150cc, your posts always encourage me to upgrade my ride. that kit looks awesome! although i will be skipping the crankshaft upgrade. too much work for my limited experience. Several more upgraded parts to come they are listed in my signature as proposed plans which will happen. Shipping my head off to Buford so he can work his magic on it pics to follow. you didn't order the head direct from scrappy? what head did you go with? if nothing else i definitely want one of buford's ported heads on my new ride. more pics plz and thank you.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's at least that much. It's probably more. My moped is $1,550. I'll drop $250 on a helmet for a bike that price but not $1,000+. it's an interesting idea but i think it would annoy me. i don't want my helmet telling me when and where to turn.

I got hired this morning and earned $17 for two hours of work today. Now if I only work for a few a day for the next two months I will have a moped by Spring. BTW, any of you know what month Spring starts in? great! take all the hours you can handle. spring starts March 20th.
