Wish me luck hope you don't need your scoot to ride to work just in case you don't finish in time. don't rush your project, double check everything and you should be fine. good luck

I would update the other forum in a week or two if it stays stable . John lol, i doubt the OP is gonna respond that thread is from 2007. point is it was on the front page of my google search but turned out to be just another useless thread. if you gonna open a help thread then it would be helpful to update it when you solve the problem. just my 2 cents

i think i solved the problem. sure is running better anyway. went from 82 jet to 78, has better acceleration and top speed is back to normal. now if the temp will just stay at 80 degrees i will be all set.

threads that don't lead to a conclusion should be deleted imo. how many times have you tried to research a similar problem only to find the thread dies before it is solved? anyone want to take a crack at this thread? chinesescoots.forumwise.com/chinesescoots-post-58344.htmlmy scoot has a short one second bog on acceleration but it doesn't do it all the time. i thought it might be running lean but then when i pulled the plug it looks like it is running rich. would those symptoms also occur if running rich? i plan to put a smaller jet in today and see if that solves the problem.

I have a front disc brake problem too. My problem is that I don't know which brake pads fit my Longbo Voyager 150cc scooter. It's a flagship chassis with 12" wheels. The back brakes are fine, but I need the control of a good set of front brakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. best to take them off so you can compare to picture imo. you should find it listed here: www.eagleatvparts.com/index.php?cPath=45&sort=2a&page=1you can probably find them cheaper someplace else but that site is set up really well for locating parts.

broke off one of the exhaust studs. i'm guessing you shouldn't use a pair of vise grips on the studs. i think i may have crushed it a little then possibly over torqued. idk, maybe they were just old and brittle. going to figure out how to tighten the new ones without vise grips. don't want this to happen again.

the other day when i was struggling with the rocker arm i put it back together in a hurry with the adjustment nut under the arm. neglected to dbl check TDC. well i put the cam on TDC but i guess the piston rotated at some point. it is about 165 degrees off, surprised it was running at all. it was running rough but i assumed it was because the exhaust valve wasn't sealed completely. finally had time to work on it again today. figured i would just put the old head on until i could lap the valve on the new head. that is when i discovered the real problem. still going to pull this head to fix the valve anyway. backyard mechanic strikes again... learning the hardway.

2- Place a rag in the case opening once you have the jug out, little things can fall in there unnoticed very easily! yeah, like a circlip.

didn't realize you need to respond to the order confirmation email. got 3 emails from them after i made the purchase, opened them but didn't really read thoroughly. interesting signing your name with a mouse.

did some quick math, after course fee and living expense's i will be left near broke. no money for tax, title and registration until the end of the month. so at the earliest i will be riding around Feb. 25th. probably take that long to have it shipped anyway.
i need to get my atm50 ready to sell so i'm not left penniless come March. ordered new mirrors and rear tail light assembly a couple days ago. if i do all that i want to do to it... it isn't going to be easy to let go.
