Seems to be a lot of stuff not quite about them on the web. I could find nothing on their site abut their location, but here is their Whois info:
Wicked ATVs.com 3301 Parkview Ct. Colleyville, TX 76034
Doesn't look like Santa Fe to me.

Yep, they do look nice.
$1100-1200. No trunk, but the folding rack is standard which I like better anyway.

Yep, crossed off. There were some bad reports on the old board too.

Let's see, when you ride that scooter of the lot it is then a used 2008 model. Worth what, $1500?
I would expect 10% off per year, or 50% off for a 5 model year old vehicle of any kind. The fact they are not willing to discount it is why they still have it sitting there. Also, CFMoto is abandoning that market, so you will probably not be able to even get parts for it.
Walking away was the smart choice.

Low restriction exhaust, bigger carb, hotter cam. To really take advantage of them: bigger bore and stroke, higher compression ration. And if that does not do enough add a supercharger. It is usually cheaper just to transplant a bigger, more powerful engine into the existing chassis.

Anyone have any experience with this scooter. Apparently made by Wangye and imported by Peace. www.usaluxe.com/ModelDetail.php?Model=Maple-150I see it available from only a few online dealers. I like the looks, but could find no reviews. It is currently on my top 3 list, should I cross it out or leave it there?

That cheapest scooter costs about the same as 350-400 gallons of gasoline. Now my old junk 4x4 gets about 10mpg in town so it would pay for that scooter in a couple of years if I did not use the truck at all. But if you car gets 25mpg you will never save the cost before scooter wears out. Even in my case, I am driving about 5K miles a year at a gas price of $ /month. Now if I got a loan on a nice new scoot for $ a month, I would not save anything at all. Worse, because I would not be riding the scoot in Dec, Jan, Feb, and probably Mar, but would still have to pay out that $ payment. I am always amazed that people can not use simple arithmetic to figure out things that affect their life. On the other hand, if you simply want a scooter, that is all that has to be said. To actually save money you are going to have to go with something in the $699 price range. On the other hand, when I was young I would simply have walked if it was only 4 miles to work.

That was one of the neat things about the Vespa (and I suppose the Stella), just pop off the engine side cowl and there was the engine, gearbox and every thing hanging on the side of the wheel. I sometimes wonder how the scooter that was designed to be the cheapest possible construction became the most expensive scooter to buy?

That being the case why do you have 250+ separate?
I think that the usage is different for the three classes of scooters under 50cc are basically replacements for the 10 speed bike (OK, I am old), the the 50-249cc are the urban/suburban utility vehicles, and the 250cc are interurban commuter and weekend touring scooters. Many of the <50cc crowd are interested in souping them up to beat the laws that are the only reason the things exist. The <250cc types are interested in things that make their scoots more reliable, and the > 250 crowd seem to be interested in the things that make them more comfortable. At least that was the impression I had from the old board.
On the other hand, I do not see any earthly reason to separate air cooled and water cooled. If many people are bothered about the speed shop type articles, then maybe a separate performance modifications forum is needed.
The thing I think needs thinking about, is dealer ratings. There should be separated forums for parts and accessories, and scooter dealers, then those should be separated out into local dealers (brick and mortar) and web based vendors (if a company does both they should be rated separately for those as quite often a company does great in one venue and rather badly in the other.)
Just some things to think about.

I HAVE been thinking of that style. 12" wheels, longer wheelbase, and stylish. What more could one ask for? What? You expect speed and reliability too? BMC keeps changing the name on that style. "The Milan" kinda gave it a certain Italian feel. Those 16" flat floor models are about the only modern style that I care for, to me a scooter has to have a flat floor for carrying that jug of wine. Not that I am much of a wine drinker, but it fits the scooter image in my imagination. The Stella 4T started me thinking about scooters, but for that kind a price I would buy motorcycle (Suzuki TU250X, specifically). I would really much rather have a manual transmission. Those belts worry me. So, anyway, I get from what folks are saying that the retro look costs more, is heavier, and makes maintenance more difficult?

Maybe it is because I am old, but I prefer the old look to my bikes. I do not see much on this or the old board about the retro styled scooters. Why is that? Everyone is young, at least at heart? Or?
