Try an open air filter if you haven't already or take the inside restrictor and front cap off the airbox.

I ran 9 grams with a koso and a 1.5 main spring, which would be like 5 grams with a stock spring and variator, but also I had heavily modified scoots with bigger motors.

Hope you start a business of your own Buford heads are the best, huge boost on all the bikes I installed them on. Can't buy anything close gonna do a water cooled stroker project buying another scoot just like the one I have in a few weeks won't be the same without the Buford head.

Why not get a set of 4 or 5 gram sliders they will work fine, I ran four and five gram mix until I upgraded the springs 4.5 grams no issue.

One gram less slider weight makes the scoot run different doesn't take much weight to change performance on these scoots.

Not sure but it starts and runs better with the hipro fan I'm gonna stick with it a noticeable difference.

You might as well do a stroker you have to take the crank out to change the chain.

It has less weight and makes it easier for the starter to turn the crank, mine runs much better with the lighter fan.

I switched my fan back to stock last night, went to start my scoot for work it wouldn't go past the compression stroke had to turn it off the compression stroke to start which i haven't had to do since i replaced the starter wires. I thought maybe my battery was low so took off went to work my scoot wasn't accelerating as well as usual and i seemed lose top speed, so i thought maybe it was the fan. I switched the fan back when i got home it turns over like a champ again my accel is back and so is my top speed, so regardless if my scoot runs hotter with the performance fan it stays on my bike.
