The highest gps speed I have seen posted is 58 mph by someone that can build the heck out of a 50cc gy6.
The speeds you are looking for are not going to happen with the motor you are talking about. You can not get enough torgue out of a 50cc to pull the gears that are not even made for that speed.
I'm not tying to bust your bubble or anything but the mechanics don't add up.

If you haven't put It on yet I would go over the surface with a fine sand paper to knock off the rough areas. No reason to put extra wear on the belt if you don't have to.

I'm guessing you have a amp for your woofer. If you have a 50cc scooter it can't keep up with the power you are pulling from the battery. Big amps drain the mess out of a battery. Is your scooter running while you're playing our music? A couple things you can try.
Have a battery dedicated to your amp and recharge it at night. Lose the amp and woofer and get a system that is made for a motorcycle like the boss MC 400.
I have the boss MC 500 and it never drained my battery as long as my scooter was running. I could even play it with the scooter off for about 30 minutes with no issues.

Got my 18/46 gears in today. Heading to the shop tomorrow morning to get the gear pressed. If it's not raining I will install and review tomorrow.

I think your hoping for way to much. That little gy6 motor will never go the speeds you're wanting.

Dang. I'm not sure a bendix could do that. I maybe wrong. Did that come off of your new scooter?

I wouldn't drill it. If you mess up even a little you have waisted a jet. I would just buy a cheap set and then you can swap them out until you get it the way you want it.

If you are stock and the scooter is running rich then you want less gas.
If you're going to go with a bbk i would go with a airsal 50mm. They are highly recommended by a lot of people here and run good with a stock head. I would also invest in a carb that can be tuned. You will never get the air/fuel ratio correct with a sealed carb.

I suggest getting the bolt out. It could mess up a lot of stuff if you run the motor with it in there.

If you are running rich and don't want to buy a carb you can adjust the mixture on you will need to go down in jet size. I don't suggest cutting any wires on the cdi at all. You may be able to change your weights and get the extra power you are looking for. You have to look and see what you have now so you can decide that. A lot of guys like the 5 gram sliders and end up gaining a little take off and top end speed. I would also check the belt to see how worn it is. If you're only wanting 30 out of it then that can be done without putting a bbk in. Also you're not going to get 40-45 from a scooter that has stock 39mm piston and stock gears, at least not on the gy6 50cc. That's a urban legend that we all keep hearing about. You would have a better chance of meeting the Easter Bunny in person.

That 58 GPS he posted was insane. I'll never get that because I weigh 250. I'll just be happy if I cam smoke all the local 50cc scooters. I want them to be confused when I pass them.
