First off, i'm sorry I don't have any pics of the scoot right now.... as it is just a frame. stripped completely. (Even paint).... and my camera recently broke. So i'm SOL on that end of things for now.... (money going into build). Right now, I have an engine that as a "80cc" kit in it, and a DLH perf. variator, and trans. gears. My plan for the engine: 44mm Stroker Crank Need an idea for a good clutch assembly A9 perf. cam 50mm BBK Need ideas on gearing Need ideas on sliders/rollers? Getting a custom domed piston to fit the 50mm kit from Wiseco or Diamond race pistons Performance head (cut for the domed piston) Unlimited CDI RED Coil 24mm Carb 150cc intake UNI Filter Ideas for a throaty sounding exhaust? NOS Wet kit from ColdFusion. (This is where the domed piston comes to play) Plans for frame: Stripped down of un-necessary tabs/hangers/mounts Stretched and lowered Chopped front end Welded pegs Was thinking about making some sort of custom bullet shaped body....ideas? Once all the welding is done, get it powdercoated red > Need some ideas for tires..... Have no clue what i'm going to use, (THIS WILL NOT BE STREET LEGAL) Wish me luck! Biggest project i've done in a while.... goal is to hit 80- MPH 1/8 mile

I think your hoping for way to much. That little gy6 motor will never go the speeds you're wanting.

Oo but it will.... when there's a will, there's a way! I'll blow the thing up time and time again before I quit.

The highest gps speed I have seen posted is 58 mph by someone that can build the heck out of a 50cc gy6.
The speeds you are looking for are not going to happen with the motor you are talking about. You can not get enough torgue out of a 50cc to pull the gears that are not even made for that speed.
I'm not tying to bust your bubble or anything but the mechanics don't add up.

We shall see! I've built 3 drag cars, x275's. I've got experience with high performance... just not on a scooter. Lol.

I agree with PCB, but lets see what you can do. Best I've seen on an air cooled 4t GY6 was and it started as a 150. A 150 might be a better place for you to start, tho. BBK, stroker crank, upgear, variator, HP head.... a trip to the machine shop to have the case clearanced.... and who knows. These scoots are not like building cars, they have their own little quirks.

Hmmm.... Already looking into a 150 motor..... I just want to max out the 50cc motor as much as possible.... on a stock frame. New plan is, Use the custom frame with a modded 150 engine, and work from there, so I'll have a street beast and a track beast

At the Twist&Gone there was a Honda Spree with a 139qmb 52mm bbk. It ran 13.50s at 43mph. In the 1/8.

Not sure on times. Snoopy ran low 8's 77mph at the T&G. A Yamaha YZ125 eng.adapted to a cvt case on a home made sprinter frame. A 96cc Yamaha/Elite and a 125cc Elite. Not far behind. Oh yea they are all 2stk's.
