It's air, fuel relative. What comes out must be in relation to the amount of air fuel that goes in. How many mm is the exhaust pipe. I believe you should not exceed 20 from a stock 49 head. Othrs with more knowledge of flow ratios can articulate this better.

Dielectric grease only on the outside NEVER on metal to metal , metal to metal requires conductive silicone.Look up the definition of dielectric. Before you buy plug, wires, coil, etc., look into coil on plug, it works GREAT.

How important is the system.? Or, will a single vacuum hose on valve cover be sufficient?

I have two stock 49 tao taos, what is the best size and carb to install, I have installed a 23mm,a mistake, I have ordered a18mm and am going to order a 19 mm.All opinions and facts will be appreciated. Is there anyone that has success with 19,20 21,mm carbs with stock 50cc engines.We need a proof positive direction for our populace.

tortoise Does the black hose with bend go to egr system, well they mailed me a 23mm carb, way too big for the stock 50cc engine. Ignore this, I got a 23mm carb,the 79.00 one.WAY too big for stock 50cc. DO NOT GO THIS ROUTE,

Could it be the automatic choke? ? On one of my scooters I pulled the needle out, placed in hole and reinstalled the non funtioning choke back over it,it ran fine

Buy a set of reverse drillbits and easy out bits from auto supply store,and then start buying lots of METRIC screws and bolts
