Ok here is the update, she started right up after pumping the throttle by hand a couple of times took a few kicks before i noticed a missing fitting on the carb after that she ran really good but my kick locked as soon as it started sounds very sqeeky and dry from the get go long before first fire up, cranks not locked though. I got a new exhaust for it sanded and repainted it rustolem flat black for the 2 for $8 autozone spray special here is a before photo i found that this one will work best for clearing the chassis. Is there a paticular way to unlock the kick as well for the starter needs to be disassembled i plan on modding because they say they have issues with sucking oil in the starter. Next. Ever heard of HF XSC on a gy6 muffler? Sounds like i found a preformance aluminium muffler.
Here is after a good sand and 2 day recoating.

Hey i have a good core block that needs rings only and a rehone fully equipped with all the parts conplete motor excluding rear tire. Oil tank + sensor included. Good bearings + clearances previously rebuilt overall less then 510 miles which is 900km converted to us miles. Its a good 2t with new carb on it and air filter the filter was $35.00 by it self as well for the carb which was about $20.00 Looking to trade for a gy6 exhaust +10 usd for a pack of smokes or a pizza. Flat cash value is $80.00 a generously good price. Heres the link: -honda-aero-motor-86-87-pgo-star" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">offerupnow.com/item/detail/102526551/-honda-aero-motor-86-87-pgo-starShes all there but needs a good home is all this block can get expensive if you dont know about vintage 2ts from the af05-16 range.

A moderate success until you verify the more direct motor mounting does not rattle you too bad without the extra isolation of the original mounting system. Were you able to keep the rubber isolation bushings functional to prevent fracturing the main bike frame? No but i will end up having to add a tube with brushing in the center to prevent snapping a piece off the block/ lower mounts off the case . I plan to get the gutt proportion welded and strengthened in a 45 degree angle with steel plate supports across the corner sides. As for brushings toward the lower kick stand area where its mounted are still in place. I may have to get a shock extension to attatch the last parts. Very close

When you do get around to firing this up, don't run it for more than a short, short time without the shroud around the cylinder head. As it is you have no air flow over the fins, and the thing will overheat in short order w/o the shroud. Very aware, i believe in shroud theory, only aspects newbies see is a "yard tool" which leads to burnt out valves or cylinder ? time for that, next to no exhaust in 4 strokes. The misses is handling the shroud as well for exhaust if im lucky. Just got a plug prelubed the cylinder with a little oil shot pass me very quickly. Pusges my finger back something good on its second stroke. She is ready, still debating paint "if flat colors came out in a wide paint variety" A good rattle would be nice. Orginal paint must go although its clean just good paint to make her homlie again

I would first switch out the starter system cables with thicker gauge wire, that often fixes these issues alone. Will it kickstart? If your thumb doesn't get blown off with a slow cranking starter, it doesn't necessarily mean a compression issue, get a friend to step on the kickstarter and see if your thumb gets blown off the hole. Have not even fired her over once the thicker cables it came with do nothing orginal cable equipment works better, needs a plug, upper shroud cover and i have to swap my tire to current rim. The ground wire is barly grounded (strator) set up just for testing. Only thing i had to make this swap work was clip off the emissions circuit bracket off the side of the valve cover it was already disabled. All the wires matched up excluding pickup wire which is yellow strip on blue wire. Gy6 contains another pickup color which i studied so its wired correctly.

Congrats, look forward to pics if you have them. Slow turning starter is usually one of three things: 1- battery weak 2- cables (stock cables to starter are too small) 3- need a high torque starter Cranks slow battery turns over old starter easy it cranks slow with no spark plug in it. The old block had a plug in it. Prime example, Cranks until you let off the switch then. You can here the rectifier click. Sit for 5-7 seconds then starts turning slow til you let off the switch i found when testing it there was no 0 ring between the stater but was fairly clean. Sparks blue as well but doesnt seem too strong my old 2t block as a finger tip in the the spark plug whole sends a power like a strong jolt the 4t feels like i just touched a weak gum trick stick.

Hi i managed to finish my gy6 swap, i need help with the slow crank issue if anyone knows if its a wise idea to disasemble and rebuild the starter is it a hard restore process as gy6 is known for sucking oil in the starter?
My kick start is also locked, first time it started the kick locked up hense squeeky sound like it was dry gearing.... I killed the engine right after start up because i did not want to risk burning the valves.

So i went down to ye ol bike to day to pull out the old Star/Aero motor and found out it is 99% possiably insured that i can drop my gy6 in my PGO Star.
Here are a few things mainly of concern.
1) the engine mount bolt is less then 1/2 inches short from bolting up (not the problem) covered.
Update 5/16: will NOT mount up to regular aero mount unless center frame around cdi is cut.
Other opton is to attempt to mount to the " old kick stand lower bolt" it fits directly but is not vibration resistant. The brushings should allow a proper pivot.
2) the strator wiring is a 5 wire type set up that i need help attatching to my 4 wire set up thats built stock on my frame.
5/16 update: THE WIRING has been precharted may not experiance a problem other then changing push clips to wire hold in place to a o ring type screw washer.
3) are the pads interchangeably between 07 gy6 P code Ruckas and honda aero 50 from 87?
If any ISSUES MAY OCCUR FROM OLD KICK STAND MOUNT PLEASE LET ME KNOW ALSO LAST WHATS TYPICAL JETTING ON A P CODE 64cc typically at sea level.

Anyone with a free muffler stock rusty or not ill take it.
Also need a free upper engine shroud cover.
Working on a GY6 swap, payed for the motor off a tank 50 1P39qmb.
Swapping from 2 to 4 t gy6 offers a lot of parts only keeping my blown ring 2t to slap on my bicycle.
The 4t is going on my vintage scooter.
Thanks
