Hi all, i have a Keeway Zahara Chinese scooter 125cc, i have lost one of the keys and i am trying to get a replacement but all the locksmiths i have been to do not have the key. Does anyone know where i can get a blank online from somewhere? I attached a pic, i don't need the Hex magnet on the top of the key, just the key itself would be great. Ive emailed Keeway but have received no reply, which is no surprise.

Perfect, just checking it was nothing to do with the brakes. It does feel a little bit like grease, so that's good news.
The other cable (brake) is completely fine with no leaks.

It is leading to the front wheel and has started to leak around the seal (as shown in firs picture), it is only a little but i just want to check its not a brake line, hoping its just dirty water thats gathered. Im assuming the pipe on the other side of the front wheel is the brake fluid line (picture 2), so i am thinking the first one is maybe to read the speed of the front wheel for the speedo! If so im also assuming this is not a fluid line.

By 150 I assume you mean something like 80w/150. Like I've seen for sale too!

Hi, i need to change my Gearbox oil in my Keeway Zahara 125, as it has the Chinese fluid in and i want to put some decent fluid in. Now my manual is a bit hit and miss on the details of what to use as the translation is crap. It says I need Gear Oil of grade GL-5 grade 85W/ . Now i cant seem to find 85W/ anywhere, the closest i can find is the one below. Will this be ok to put in the scooter or not? link

Yes someone posted the same link earlier on, and I'm going to use this when I set it up tomorrow. It's a great guide.

I totally agree, the position is quite confusing. But my screw is just like the picture, so clockwise to lean it is.
Hopefully when I make it more lean it will cure my starting/stalling issues I have and I might get my scooter running smoothly eventually haha!
This whole thing threw me off a bit, as I read and spoke to people who says new scooters from the factory are set up very lean. So not sure why mine is rich.

Thank you. I have had so much conflicting advise online, and everything pointed to counter clockwise for leaning it.
My scooter is running rich, and i didn't want to make an adjustment until i had the correct advise.
Ill be turning it clockwise tomorrow. Cheers.

Hi i just need a quick answer to this question, as my manual does not say and i cant seem to find an answer online. My keeway zahara scooter has the same Carb gy6 (as far as i can tell) pictured below. Now if i want to lean the mix, do i turn the screw counter clockwise or clockwise? and is it a air screw or a fuel screw? Ive read online that if the screw is on the same side of the airbox, it is a air screw? If so i assume that counter clockwise would lean the mix and clockwise would make it rich.

Ok, well I gave the air/fuel mix a half turn and it started ok, and didn't stall or need any gas to keep it going (hope it hasn't made it too lean now) Will try it again tomorrow and hopefully all is fixed. Thanks for the help, great forum ?

Thanks for the reply.
Yes the enricher is what I meant haha. Well when I start the scooter it runs fine for 30 secs before the revs dip and it stalls, does the enricher not kick in as soon as you start the scooter?
The spark plug is coloured black with a white core, so I guess that is a sign that it is rich.

Hi, i have just bought my first scooter and i am enjoying it very much. But i seem to have a problem with it just after startup.
My scooter is a Keeway Zahara 125 (gy6 engine) with about 350km on the clock. When i electric start it from cold, i have to give a little twist on the throttle to get it going (which the manual says is normal), it idles fine for about 30 seconds, then the idle dips and goes so low it will stall. If i keep the throttle twisted a little it keeps going, then after about 2 minutes it idles fine and then doesn't miss a beat the whole journey. If i stop it when hot and restart it, it will start with just the electric starter (no throttle needed).
I have searched and done most of the things suggested, changed out the cheap Chinese plug for a Ngk one, adjusted the idle screw, adjusted the valves to a 0.04 clearance, and i have tried adjusting the fuel/air mix screw. All of which haven't solved the problem.
I can hear the auto choke working just after start up, but it still seems to dip and stall.
Any help would be great.
