Ok Perfect! prêt much what I figured ya needed to run it, Its a new clutch. Go out and Bang on it! it should smooth out to a one finger with shorty levers. Ive used Barnet clutch springs and with a perfect clutch basket the bike had to run and work the lever a couple times to disengage properly, was the nature of the Barnett the beast.

Ya gotta get it running and actuate the clutch several time in Neutral and see what she does. You should be able to easily pull the clutch lever with Two fingers, and One can be done comfortably or something is wrong.

At this point in the game it really doesn't seem to matter much where the "origin" of parts is. Most EVERYTHING is made of parts from EVERYWHERE, in places ALL OVER THE PLANET.I've been so intrigued by my Honda Accord UEX that I've done some digging... OK, it IS a HONDA. Made in 2004. Most of the body/interior was made in America. The ORIGINAL factory performance engine, tranny, suspension, brakes, headers/straight-pipes, 200-mph wheels and other components came by order from Honda Performance in Japan. The roll-cage and harness (long since removed) were dealer-installed American aftermarket. The whole enchilada was assembled in Tennessee... And not street-licensable.When the original owner decided after two seasons on the track, to convert the frisky little hamster to street-licensed status, the street-chip came from Mexico. THAT little piece of legality took her 3.0 VTech motor from around 490hp down to 257hp. Dang! But she DOES give good mileage...The new street headers, mufflers and pipes came from the dealer's stock... muffs marked "made in USA". The interior (all cowhide except for the driver's seat) has some pieces not marked, some made in USA. The lone upholstery exception is the driver's seat, finished in thick horsehide. A teensy tag inside the seat back says: "Performance USA". Fortunately for me, the original fuel-injection, "slingshot" first-gear tranny and boat-anchor brakes from the original build remain... and all work to perfection in street-trim! While being a limited ('03 &'04 only: they just could NOT beat those 656hp Caddies...) and an "unusual" original build for the track, the plethora of countries of origin for parts is pretty vast. When all is said and done, I'm MORE than happy with the finished product. Saved from trashing on the track and morphed into a silent, trouble-free and more fun than a 14-year-old grocery-getter has any right to be ride... I really don't worry about WHERE "Rhonda II" was made. I just enjoy the ride! She'll get a bag of cat food home from Wally World in short order! Once in a while, giving a tuner kid a bad hair day in the process... LOL!I guess the moral of the story is: "If you like it, don't worry so much about where it comes from..."
Ride it safe! Wherever it comes from...Leo in Texas An things were going so well. I know cuz the kid at the Honda dealership told ya so. Yes us industry calls it the ECU "Bullchip" was in there..

Unlike Evil TP was a Aerial Combat Ace by the time he was on RM 80's, a master of steering the bike in the air. Evil or many of us for that matter Just didn't have the lighter weight bikes with any kind of suspension to practice on. My Back Is Junk from riding early 70's mx and worse snowmobiles, my Spine was the suspension. Evil looks like a +40 Novice mx'r falling from the sky, He had a week and a day to tap the rear brake and bring the rear up and pull it off, he just stayed frozen trying to ride it out like a White boy that can't jump. The Front Falls PIN the Throttle, The Back Drops Tap the Rear Brake.
TP's style always reminded me of a Gazelle, he used his lanky body to propel the bike forward in the air were as some like McGrath never moved his arse four inches off the seat and could steer in the air so the attitude of bike in perfect angle with the down side of the jump Wide Open, they are both masters of the craft.

Travis made it look easy I have worked with his team before so was no surprise how light the bike was, ( I think its a Champ dirt track frame) and also the Suspension would be heavily modified. Travis also has his own facility and would be pretty sure he had practiced and made all three jumps many times before we saw him on TV.

... One thing that freaks me out a bit is when people SLOWLY pass you and are only a couple feet from you. I'd think slowly would be way better than passing FAST and close! As for painting curbs, why not just paint the worst ones on your usual route? Or at least call whoever runs street maintenance and ask nice for them to fix it. Esp Leo's curb that has caused numerous accidents. We had road work up the street, and they didn't fix the hole correctly (left a ditch around the large patch). I called about it, explained that I could feel the "ditch" in my car and feared what could happen once I started driving my scooter. Guy apologized and said it would be fixed. Next day, it already was! Yes, I called and thanked him right away--gratitude goes a long way in getting these things accomplished next time. >'Kat I kindly take acceptation. You go ahead and side draft me on a fly by rather than lollygagging and siting on my corners. When making my pass on to wheels I make the commitment and squirt by in a safe but speedy manner. if I push the speed limit by a few to get it done so be it. Same in a car, the highway pass at 1/2 mph faster than you sitting on my corners lallygagging , jeez get it done and get out of the way. Probably my race driver mentality of Lead or Follow just get off my dmn corners..

a smaller valve clearance allows the valve to open earlier, farther and close later it will also help with longevity of the head by not letting the valve seat slam shut. The cam will slow down the valve just before it makes contact with the seat but can't do so if it hits to early. .0027 maybe is the exact number on one particular scooter and .0029 is it for another scooter. but it's really difficult to be that accurate with a fealer gage and sometimes a scooter is all the way out at .0035 or something so the books say .004 because that's going to work for almost all scooters even if its not the best it all depends on how much your personal cylinder and valve head expand with heat. oh I almost forgot. popping can be caused by an exhaust leak. At idle the idle enrichment kicks in and higher rpm=vacuum will pull fuel+oxygen leak= popping. Chewy's on it again and Spot On!!

She is just a tad lean on the low end when you chop the throttle. you can adjust the Air screw or may need to upjet 1 on the Pilot Jet. A Classic Case of Throttle Chop.. You don't have to Chop the throttle feather it off and most of it will not be there .
.005 on the Valves, I have never set mine that loose. not sure were you got the information on that but its incorrect. I run a tight .003 on the Intake and .004 on the Exhaust.
There seems to be allot of bunk information on the 150 Valve lash but always remember the spec given has Idiot insurance built in it
