Metal chunks and silvery oil is not s good sign at all,,, it it were mine I'd tear it down but that's me get the heck out Borg, ya holeshoted me one minute, We are both anal when it comes to motors etc. I always see some shinees stuff in my oil as I look thru it with a magnifying glass on white paper towel.

Nah, ya won't get that much trash from a new piston, ring and cyl, assembly. Most always going to find some trash if ya look for it in the oil. thee is no real filter to take it out, I wouldnt be too concerned, if it aint broke don't fix it!

I think the most exciting thing is the entrance of Indian m/c with Jammin Jared Mees at the controls.
Two of the original Indian Wrecking Crew, Bill Tuman right and Bobby Hill Yamaha's DT-07

A p71 tops out about 125-130 with no pushbar or lightbar. Im not willing to test my Floater P-71, up to those speeds.

Be interesting to see what Petty's garage will do with the new/old Demon.

I own a 07 Texas P-71 Interceptor and its a Floater at 115mph or so, Solidly planted to 100mph, can take your hands off the wheel. maybe 145mph top end at best. It floats like a 70's muscle car and I won't do it.

My grill never shuts down. In NC last week with the Snow and Ice storm I was stuck, fire up the BBQ. A Purest only uses Mesquite. I still prefer the Texas BBQ over the NC/Lexington style

I would love to hear John Penton comment on the matter . KTM dominates GNCC racing in the East. Even S/X star Ryan Dungey on the Wheaties Box with his KTM
