Thanks for getting back so quickly. I had the store that I bought the moped at install the 100cc kit. I got no info about it from them, and expected much better performance seeing that the cc,s were doubled. It's a atm 50a 139qmb.So I don't know yet if the head and piston were changed or just the piston.I want this scooter to Rock.Any cost effective applications are welcomed!! If all you have had done was go to the Maximum overbore for your Scoot of a 50mm expect very little to nill of a gain. To get the most or what your looking for of a larger displacement one must understand you are putting together a combination of several hot rod parts that all compliment each other to get what you want. The matching 50mm cylinder head, hot rod exhaust, intake, proper jetting to make it all happen And you did Not Double the displacement there is No such thing as a Real 100cc displacement kit for a GY-6 50cc Maximum overbore for your Scoot is 50mm or 81.28cc thats what you have. Pretty darn sad a actually brick and mortar store would stand there and take your money telling you the installed a 100cc kit when there is No Such thing... Here is the math. .7854 x bore x bore x stroke=displacement .7854 x 39 x 39 x 41.4 =49.56cc Stock Bore .7854 x 50 x 50 x 41.4 =81.28cc Maximum Over bore

had the 100cc big bore kit installed The downside . . . Folks must realize this mostly happens when boneheads have a clapped out 50cc and people talk him into not installing a new 39mm stock bore 50cc top end but go up to a 50mm bore +11mm's in Bore/Piston size to something like a realistic 82cc.. since the Top end was clapped out how good dos one think the crank is? not a good idea to do any hot rodding at all with that crank. This market seems to be ignorant that going up 11mm in Bore/Piston size sending the crank out to be trued, the pin welded and the rotating assy spun is a Automatic. It doesnt cost as much as one may think to have this done Falicon and Crankworks are two well known companies with very quick turn around time...

I have a taotao atm50A 139 QMB. What should I gap the intake and exhaust valve at.I have them both gapped at .o04.I had the 100cc big bore kit installed. It starts and runs smoothly no tapping noise. But it lacks mid to high range power. I had a performance muffler on it and it was backfiring and stalling so I put the stock exhaust back on and a stock carb.I have the original carb that was rejetted should I reinstall that with a cone airfilter to get my mids and highs back? Do you just have on the 50mm bore cylinder and piston assy? or do you have a cylinder head and hot rod cam? Your going to have to jet accordingly to the combination you have now, if you change to another carb with different filtration and or the hot rod exhaust you will have to jet to that combination. There is no one jetting fits all.. good luck

Have you removed the Pipe and drained it or clear it out? Are you injected or Pre-mix for the 2-t oil? What kind of Two Smoke oil are you using?

Oh ya Star racing, George Bryce & co, moved allot of custom pistons to them over the years. Here what it takes in the Belt dept and Chain dept.

The "Bulldog" Jay Turner lives about ten minutes from me in Julian NC. a one gas pump town. When he light it up the music can be heard for miles.. And the Smell, the Smell of 98%nitro, wish they made it into cologne

I would sure like to see Indian jump into the game. Diversity and Competition is always good for the sport and the end user. As far as HD domination the rules were essentially written for HD and its pushrod v-twin... Ive been involved in closed door rules congress and its always who ever is going to spend the most money gets to write the rules.. and thats fine HD breathe new life into mc drag racing as Japan could care less and provides no support. Given equal displacements the V-twin simply cannot compete. If i remember correctly maximum displacement for the HD is 160ci and the inline fours 107ci. its the same gig in road racing the twins get more displacement and or a weight reduction. Two Cylinders 98% nitro and the number thrown around is 1,000hp

Ive worked with many and have been star struck by none but AJ is a different breed all together, the OG intimidator. Had some association with AJ's Power Team and this pic is fresh from Kenny's Indy 500 win, having some fun time in the Garage as Kenny gets his Power Team Guitar. That Larry Foyt over my right shoulder. A visit to the race shop outside of Houston I was called for a one on one with AJ in his office and you better have your snit together when you speak to that man or your out. there was a ora of light around him that made it difficult to look him in the eye.

Ya Gotta Roll with Super Tex on this one. Know body really come even close to AJ. 1965 Milwaukee mile. The primary new rear engine car and crew did not show up so in true Super Tex fashion AJ prepped the front engine roadster himself and put the car on the pole. led the first 16 laps and finished 2nd of a 200 miler...

And No there was no Ommpa Loompas doing Neutral drops by Hand. Any Squid trying that would have been properly put on the trailer and sent packing..

I saw this guy in Rockingham at the all American Fuel Drags. Off the show room floor rear tire, a member of the "Stock Motor Mafia" only a Airshifter wired thru his horn button to activate. he was just able to pull high tens in the 1/4 mile with the setup you see...
