Legal speed limits are exactly what they say, limits. Go faster your guilty of speeding, Even to pass your not allowed to exceed the speed limit. That's not what I was saying. I asked if I needed to register it. I assume there are roads in IN that you can legally exceed 29 mph on, though I have never been there. The question is whether bicyclists capable of breaking 29 mph need to register or if it only applies to motor driven cycles...

I'm typing this from a small computer that is more powerful than the ancient beast I use at the office, with an awesome screen that fits in my hands and the phone company gave it to me... For free (sure it retails around $400 but...). HUD has been around for a long time I don't see it being all that expensive to implement with current technology. These aren't the only guys doing this either...

So if I can break 29 on my bicycle it has to be registered? Or is it only motor vehicles. Here in NM we often hit speeds around 45 on descents with our bicycles... Are there big enough hills in IN to do it?

Yes there are but I don't need another thing to have to carry around. Besides the GPS app on my phone is excellent why would I want to buy something else unless it could be as versatile as this helmet. If they can do the helmet for around $500 I would consider it I have seen similar concepts projected at that amount...

I use my bike for business travel quite a bit I already have most of the capability of this helmet built into the bluetooth that I use but I would welcome the navigation abilities that the HUD incorporates. It looks a lot easier than trying to mount your phone and having to deal with the possibility of destroying it due to water damage or whatever. I can tell you having to fiddle with getting everything right with the headset and the helmet and the jacket and the balaclava etc. is a PITA one single unit that is compatible with everything sounds good to me.
