You know I was thinking a sterile prison is preferable to a dirty one. Just sayin. It will start to look normal soon...

250's run quite reliably with CVT's. Going back as far as the Honda Helix and as recent as the Aprilia's current Hondas, Vespa etc. The Burgman I had was a 400 cc and when I changed the belt for the first time at 15,000 miles it took a very good eye to see that it had worn. Nissan too runs CVT's reliably in there cars, with excellent fuel economy. Once again we see that theory doesn't always match reality.

Just to help you a bit maybe what you are basically asking is similar to this...
What's the best size pants? I have no idea what size I have on but they are too tight...
Unfortunately the answer is too vague. A bigger one than what you have.
First why do you think you are lean? Have you moved the needle up? Adjusted the fuel/air mix screw? Start with those jetting is the last resort... When you have done the above and you are still lean then find out what you have and go one size at a time till your too lean symptoms subside...

If somehow the lack of venting does over come your float (unlikely but...) it is a bigger deal than described above. Gasoline will flood into your engine and you will end up with it in your oil. You don't want that. Why not cap it and look for a vented gas cap?

Which engine do you have? There is more than one... Are we to assume its a scooter? Which one? Your pictures are too small to really be able to see...
