Yeah, Jerry, there was a dimension listed under "Specs" (14"), but no lines of where that was measured and no indication at all, of any kind, that some scooters require a different part (and they have no other engine hanger available). I actually measured my old hanger, as best I could, while it was in the scooter ... and 14" was in the ballpark. Unfortunately, the dimension was critical -- the distance between frame attachment points - and the 1/2 inch difference made the item totally unusable. if only they had indicated "some scoots are different; measure carefully from 'point "A" to point "B" ..." .... as is done often with other parts, the whole problem could have been avoided. As it was, if they had simply reimbursed ONE of the 2 shipping charges I might have been dissatisfied, but not angry. Seems to me not a good business decision given the "Application" info they gave specifically said it's correct for the engine in my scoot. I feel you, I hate when an online listing for a product doesn't have the basic information needed for a customer to make a buying decision. If an online store doesn't take the time to take care of it's customers and put a proper description, then I won't take the time to buy the product from that store.

"why didn't I do this sooner?"We all have been there, lol. Scooters are strange, most people looked at them on the streets and think that they are silly, but once they get the chance to ride one, they never stop doing it.

Hobo on the corner 100% of donations goes to liquor and dope
I don't like giving away money, you never know where it is going to end. I remember one day when a hobo asked me for spare change to buy food, I told him that I would not give him money but I would buy him something to eat instead, he gave me the eye and walked away.
If you want to support a cause, do it by helping them with your work or giving them things that you know they will put to good use, but never give away money.

Sorry to hear it, bro. It's been a rough year for several of us here on the forum. Seems like someone is in a wreck every month or two. Get well soon! Accidents are part of riding a motorcycle, it will happen to all of us eventually, I accepted that fact and do everything I can to avoid it and be prepared when it happens again, hopefully with all the gear I'm wearing now I won't get too messed up next time.

A little advice, as soon as you get the surgery done find a good physical therapist and put that wrist to work, your doctor might tell you to keep it unmobilized for weeks or months, but that will make recovery a lot harder, I was schedule for PT next week by the doctor, 3 months after the last accident, if I wouldn't had gone to PT on my own until now, my leg would have turned into a stiff stick by now, instead now I'm fully recovered walking and riding like nothing ever happened. I have a good friend that is a PT, usually they don't get the credit they deserve, PT has come a long way and is amazing how much it improves recovery.
Orthopedists are good to put things back on it's place with surgery, but when it comes to recovery the PT is the person to trust, just like Orthopedists spend their time finding better ways to put your bones back in their place, the PTs spend their time finding better ways to make recovery faster and easier.

Here in the US " mass shootings " are the thing now . just pray it doesn't become " the thing " in your country . Like I said, it depends on the place and culture of people in that place, you get mass shootings and safer roads; we get no mass shootings, instead we get psychos on wheels. If I knew I had a good chance of being attacked with a gun, I would be packing one myself.

I guess it depends on the circumstances of the place that control is applied, army was abolished here way back in the 1940's, and gun control is very strict, we don't have mass shootings nor we have a high index of aggressions involving a gun; most incidents where a gun is involved are between two drug gang members shooting each other (self pest control, lol). If gun laws where relaxed here, I bet there would be lots of violent incidents involving guns; interesting thing is that we have high numbers of deaths by traffic accidents, people over here drive like psychos, no need for guns to kill each other Violence can be a cultural thing, pass by one generation to the other, it usually starts with a conflict (like war or government oppression) where normal people is forced to kill each to protect their life and/or freedom. For places where war and conflicts haven't been a major issue in it's history, seldom you see high index of gun violence. I've never had a gun on my hands in my whole life, nor do I know personally someone who ever had, for me having a gun is pointless, I would be on a higher risk of shooting myself or someone else by accident than being shot by an aggressor.

I dig the new e-scoots. All that torque is available at a very low rpm. Cost of batteries is still the biggest barrier to success in the e-scoot arena. Until we get a breakthrough in battery chemistry, e-scoots will not be very affordable to the masses. I really like e-bicycles, because you can pedal to extend your range. A foldable scooter!!!! I would love to have one of those, you don't even need a parking space for that thing!

At first, I got my scooter just for commuting purposes to save money on gas and avoid the terrible traffic jams around here (filtering is allowed here), but after the first ride I was hooked! Now my car spends most of his time in the garage and the scooter mileage is on the loose.
Aside from the fun and convenience of riding, I also enjoy tinkering with this thing, it is so simple that it is a joy to work on it.

Check if fuel is getting in the carb bowl, could be a fuel delivery issue.
