i have a 2014 v.i.p. scooter, was running excellent until i parked it and didnt ride it for about 2 weeks . when i went to start it ,the battery was dead.i tried charging the battery but no luck, so i bought a new one installed it and the scooter turns but wont start...is it possible the gas turned to lacquer in the carb or is it maybe the spark plug, i have 950 miles on the scooter,im the original owner....does anyone know what could be the problem, and how to fix it ....thanks and have a nice day............

First does engine turn over but won't start? Is gas ok if not sure drain and refill with good high octane fuel pull fuel lineoff carb are you getting flow? if so check to see if you got spark? Is you kill switch on, did you shut of fuel supply?

Check if fuel is getting in the carb bowl, could be a fuel delivery issue.

Seafoam is a motor treatment product you can add to your gas tank in small amounts and it will liquefy any hardened gas you may have in your system while it runs. It sure beats having to clean out the carb later on. Have fun!
