Yeah, I only live 8 miles from work. Really no reason to not ride except for the rain. Really hoping I can put some miles on the scoot this summer. I think it's been a record year for the WET here.

Hmmm...that is some VERY good info. I was thinking about having a contest on who could ride the most in a year

Bump if you rode into work. 38degrees but finally NO rain. Felt good!!! *didn't want to bump "what did you do to your scooter today" when technically i didn't do anything.

/\But if you use the Vozz it doesn't have chin straps I can see those clips getting gummed up and then having to struggle getting it off. Very innovative, but will it really catch on?

I turned off the fuel and drained the carb and started a rotation with battery charging on all the toys. Hopefully next month it will stop raining.

Since I been having problems with the ignition...and it's finally rain season, I started taking the scoot apart to take pictures of the ignition. I asked for help and they wanted detailed pictures to make sure i got the right one since I have no clue what model and all that i have. After a couple of pictures I decided to take the damn thing apart. Maybe keep it as a spare. Here it is all cleaned up. Was really worried putting it back together as I had no idea the exact placement. Weird thing is i tested it with ohm meter and there where 3 separate outcomes. Shouldn't there have only been 2? One on and one off? Anyway after starting to reassemble the whole thing found out it was idiot proof. Everything only lined up one way.. All back together again and works like a charm. Probably should have put some dielectric grease on it.

Thank you very much for thinking of me. My tires are 7 years (or more) old so I've been taking corners VERY gingerly. (Especially with the de-icer on the roads. HOLY heck that stuff is slick!!) I'm sure anything will be better than these..LOL. I just noticed that for the most part there are stock tires and then the Kendra's for a little extra. Wondering if the small price is worth it.
*also ice on the roads here and the kendra's look like better traction for that.
Went out to start the scoot at 0400hours to go to work in 27degree weather. Wouldn't start. I've been to busy to rip into it to take pictures of the ignition to replace. Hopefully tonight. Will replace tires after Christmas.

You guys know all that info is bull right? Please show us. The same list was published a few years ago. Didn't believe the Goodwill one so looked into it. Even had it been accurate I would still donate items to them because i believe it to be a very good community service. I don't have any information now but you can start here. www.snopes.com/politics/business/charities.asp

38 degrees is brutal. Fog so you can't see crap the same, lol
Learned that now I need to replace the ignition switch. Didn't want to start and I thought it was the battery until I could find the sweet spot with the key.

I changed the oil and spin-on oil filter a few weeks back. My Genuine Buddy has a spin-on oil filter like the Vespas, to be changed every 5000 km. I had new Kenda tires installed yesterday. I hope the weather allows me to try out the new Kendas this weekend. Let me know how you like those tires. Need new ones and was wondering if there are worth it.
