geh3333 jerseyboy JR The tank seems to be vented but I'm going to take a closer look also I'm going to take off the cap wen I go out tomorrow. Then mess with the carb to see if I can get that right... Thinking the main jet might be a little too big or I need to get a bigger pilot, because It's probably sucking all the gas out the carb bowl and struggles to fill back up. geh3333

Update: so i got a new cylinder and piston kit. Installed everything in 34 degrees weather... Still it wont suck any gas from the floor tank. I got a jar and filled it with the same gas thats in the tank. I put the jar beside my tank and put my gas line in there. It sucked it right up no problem. Got me thinking something is wrong with the gas tank. Probably just too cold out... Got a new blue AC CDI, hooked it up and there was a very little spark when I tried to crank my scoot. Everything pointed it to be a AC motor. The colored wires on the cdi matched the wires on the cdi harness. Even my stator pointed it to be a ac motor. On top of that, my headlights and continuous tail light doesnt work. Put the stock cdi back on and it sparks fine. The cdi my scoot came with looks weird. Look at my "I Really Need Help" post to see what the cdi looks like. Guess I'll just try a dc cdi next time. Brand new orange coil too. (Tested the cdi with new coil and stock... Same results) JR, alleyoop, Doug, JerryScript, skuttadawg, geh3333, scooter, jerseyboy, onewheeldrive, JerryScript, ksaun123

Whats the appropriate size piston? Its already set at 57.4mm. I don't own a small engine hone. The cylinder is new so why hone? What piston do you recommend? or what cylinder do you recommend? or combo

Ill just buy a new cylinder, and I just put a new set of rings on it 2 days ago. I believe if I hone the cylinder, it would not have any effect on the piston fitment.

Ok I appreciate you taking your time to see, and for both opinions. Im going to go ahead and order the right, more expensive cylinder now.

Appreciate the feedback. By the way is anybody been getting packages lost by usps lately?

Does anyone think a 58.5 piston would fit in there?

I have a 1P52QMI engine that i upgraded to a 150cc. Bought new head, cylinder, gaskets, and piston kit. Noticed over time It started loosing compression, even stopped sucking in gas from the floor tank. Wondering if the cylinder cutout is too big. I have a odd gap between the piston and the cylinder. (I only got the cylinder for $20 anyway). Changed the piston rings after 0 miles and still same problem. Oil pump works fine too. Is this normal? If so, how can I fix the compression? I also did the finger in spark plug thing and it didn't push my finger out. Wondering if I should have got the 149cm^3 cylinder instead... I set the valves to 0.05 intake and 0.06 exhaust i58.tinypic.com/11j7sc9.jpg JR, alleyoop, Doug, JerryScript, skuttadawg,
