First of all, don't get aggravated with the bike. Ask him what the name of the part is and any specs on the part, then tell us what you need and maybe one of us can help you locate the part, okay?

Anyone here have a CH80? How do you get the intake tube off? I've tried everything and can't get to either inside nut Can you show us a picture of it, maybe with you trying to get a wrench on it so we can see what the trouble is?

It sounds great. On my "Scootie", I cut off the back of the muffler and put an old variator in the hole. It fit perfectly and the bigger hole made it sound a little bada__ too!

Excellent. I score up the plastic with rough sandpaper and then wipe the area to be glued with acetone to make it really clean. Let us know how it goes and maybe show us some pictures of your work!

I bet it's a hoot to ride.......but at 518 pounds dry (probably more like 540 or 550 pounds ready to ride), it's a bit chubby to be a scooter in my mind. That's the thing I like about them. They are changing the way people look at scooters! HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY! not WIMPY WIMPY WIMPY! HAHAHA!

Unfortunately Piaggio will only be sending the US scooters over 50cc in their Vespa or Piaggio brands. Aprilia is now restricted to just a non Piaggio 50cc 4 stroke. The Aprilia powered Direct Injection 50cc Two Strokes capable of 50+ mph are not allowed at all anymore and anything above are only being allowed in Vespa or Piaggio with the largest being the BV350. Some dealerships have dropped the Aprilia brand altogether due to this. Their Gilera and Derby brands I do not believe will be seeing any US distribution. Why are they "not allowed"? Tell us more about it, please!

I cut the wire off an old power strip and put some connectors on it. I attached it to the relay so I can use it as a remote starter until the new relay arrives. I think I can get it reassembled half-assed enough to drive it to work but I'm worried about getting it all back together properly & snugly. Whew! Thanks much cyborg, tvnacman & scooter, for your help. I'll send you a Surfpick, if you'd like one? I wood LOVE to have one of your picks! I like thin flexible pics, to play electric metal power chords, but I'll take whatever you want to send. If I could have one with a rubber grip, that would be super. I have a hard time keeping a pick in position. I used gasket sealer on mine. Thanks, Surfpick! That's very generous of you! Oh, and you play beautifully! I'd like to play that well some day!

Alright, I have finally been able to install the new exhaust. It bolted right on, and I can not be happier with the results. After installation I had to lean the carb a little to get the carb tuned perfectly. 150cc with stock exhaust. 150cc with Freeflow exhaust. NICE!!!!

What's your brand for plastic weld? If you are talking to me, I like the Ace hardware generic brand. It sets hard. The JB weld was softer so I used it for other stuff.
