the pick up coil wire while cranking should be about .5vac , the power wire (red/black) should be 30+ vac while cranking . Take 4 jumper wires , put all 4 ends together , then connect to the following: engine , frame , -coil and negative battery . check power and pulse at the stator connector and at the cdi plug . John What does connecting those 4 things together with jumpers do beside make a more direct path for the negative? I do not have a voltometer, I have an analog multimeter but not sure what to set it to to check these things. If your problem is coming from a poor or weak ground and you do the jumper trick your spark should go back to normal . John

is your gas tank above or below the carb ? One hose from/to your fuel tank ? vent hole in your gas cap ? John Look at the video, you can see all of my scoots innards. The tank it above the rear wheel. There is a vent hole inside the cap but i dont see one on the outside but I have never had any issues with vapor lock or anything like that. I do have a hose that leads from the top of the gas tank but it has been cut and tied up since before I got the scoot so I have no idea what it went to. Can we have a good look at all of the above . Just because something has not been a problem does not mean it is now a problem . I would like to see the connection under the fuel tank . Sometimes dips in the fuel hose on its way to the carb . watch this videowhat you talking about on your gas tank does it look like this or that ? I notice you stated your more of an electrical guy . Think of the vac hoses in the fuel system as"control" with vac the relays make and fuel flows . Questions ? John

No fair editing!!! I had a perfect joke, but you edited just before I hit quote! I find the best tool for taking off stubborn plastic body panels is a ball peen hammer, though it does get a bit expensive! Lol , I caught it right after I posted it. My phone likes to make me look like an idiot. I should have let it go, I'm sure it would have got some good responses. Lol I did not get to see it , but my fat sausage fingers and the little ity bity keyboard make for some interesting mistakes . Sometimes a pic of your scooter will help , if someone here has a similar body style maybe able to give you some insight . John

Can you make heads or tails of the circuit ?
If memory serves me correct the flasher's 3 wires one is ground for the flasher , the other is a switched power feed , the third goes to your selector switch . A completed circuit with enough load will make the flasher flash . I wonder if the signal switch is bad , for the left if I remember correctly from your video .
The splice in your video with the two black wires and a third I don't remember the color , I think feeds your brake circuit , then the second black continues to feed something else along the way .
Are you able to work on the signals with just the key on ?
