This actually isn't a total scrabble game but one does spell and change words.
This is the rules of the game and with this game you'll not be able to repeat a word, have a dictionary right on hand to check words, and not be able to put in the wrong number of letters in a word. If you make a mistake or use a improper word it's let you know!
This thread here be locked and stickied to the top of the board for future reference so here are the rules and you will play the game on another thread just below this thread and the thread is made just for the game, no other thing so here are the rules.
(1) The way this is set up you will see at the top right corner of the page "ADD NEW WORD", click on this and a popup will come up for you to post your new word. The game will be started with the first word already in place. This is what the pop up will look like:
(2) Here is how it works, in this pop up you see the current word is a 6 letter word and if the game starts at 6 letters then "only" 6 letter words are accepted on this game. if you put a word in that doesn't have the correct number of letters another pop up will come up letting you know the letter count is incorrect and you will not be able to submit the word. The pop up will appear when you hit "Submit Word". If you put in a word that has already been used it will let you know and you'll have to choose again.
(3) Now you see the button called "Check Word"? Before you submit your word if you're not sure if it is a word, or if it is spelled correctly then after you type in your new word click on the "Check Word" and a pop up will appear with a Merriam Webster dictionary and the word you put in the "New Word" box already pasted into the dictionary to see if it is correct! If the word is misspelled or isn't in the Merriam Webster dictionary it will let you know! So then you can choose another word!
(4) Words with things like hyphens - and other non-letter symbols !$^&* will not be excepted, not even numbers, it MUST be letters, if you try to submit a word like this, when you hit the "Submit Word" button the word will not be put in, nothing will happen at all?
(5) You also have a message spot so you can post any message to your post and then hit the "Submit Word" button.
(6) Now most of the regular menu buttons on this game only have been removed, this thread is for the game only, not to ask about scooters or to post conversations except in the message area of the game dealing with the game. You will to the right see the Gear icon and if you hit this you will be able to Report a post just like in the normal forum area. When you report a post it will go to staff here just like in the other areas of the forum. reasons for reporting a post:
(a) Even though no one has a reason to put a misspelled word in it can happen and if it clearly does then report such word and a staff member only can and will come and delete the incorrect word/post and the game can move one. Please if it is obvious that a word is misspelled or if you do it by accident then you can also PM any staff member here where they can come in and make the necessary corrections.
(b) Profanity or vulgar words, just because they may be in the dictionary is no reason to use them.
(c) A argument or dispute about the game.
(7) Do not try to quote a member, if you do then the word is not on the list and can be used again, don't add smilies just a word.
I am working on a "Challenge Button" for the game that I can install a little later and with it one could challenge a word and the game will shut down until the challenge is checked out and the game reset.
I'll go get the game started and with this game we now should be able to finally someday come to a spot to say, we have a Winner!
When we do get a winner I'll start another game with a different number of letters the next time. Also I think I'll award a prize for the winner!
It's going to be a packaged "JR's never fail New Year's good luck meal!"
Package includes:
Hog Jowl Collard Greens Black Eyed Peas Corn Bread
Meal fit for a king!

Question? He made a total of 18k with both jobs and even if he had children and got earned income credit, there is no way he would have got 8k back in taxes?
How could he think this and how could you believe it?

I see this conversation as a dead end. Long story short your son is now scamming people who in good faith gave him money for a bad check.
Now I see it as someone who is trying to dodge responsibility of paying the people who did you right, doesn't matter if they can or cannot come after you, if you put your name on a account with him then you need to either take action to make him do the right thing or as we say in a poker game anny up.
Myself since he's gave all these BS excuses to "not" pay these people back I would give him 3 days to pay them back or call his CO and let them know what is going on. I promise they will take care of it even if he's in the brig while they are doing it. If he is in the services and they find out his offense could lead to a court marshal and DH discharge, seems someone needs to wise up.

Is there a way to upload a pdf file to the message board, or do I need to host it on my own somewhere and link to it? I would like to post my first draft instructions on what I did for this project for everyone to review and give me feedback. If I need to host is somewhere I can figure something out. The instructions I wrote up ended up being a little more than I expected, but I hope they at least can make sense to someone and help them complete this down the road....... Thanks. PM me and I'll give you instructions on how we can get it here on the forum.

Well your experience is because out in the boonies they get away with no inspections so the owners get away with stuff like that. Around here the gas stations get inspected to make sure their gas it up to par. I would bet that most will go and fill up with the cheapest stuff they can find then when it starts to sputter and not burn right they complain(YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR). Then on top of that they go and buy an additive which by the way are not cheap. So the money they spent on the cheap gas and the additive you could have spent on a better grade of gas and not have any problems. Amazing how this stuff works ain't it I agree years ago no corn additives used to run SUNOCO at the dragstrip, but now a days around here cheap gas with who knows what is in there so i stick with shell like I said for over 40 years and not one single problem. Even my snowblower sits all year round in the shed with gas in it and bring it out in the winter and it starts right up runs like a top. So this leave it sit and what not is nothing more than someone's own fault allowing water and condensation to accumulate then they blame the gas, GOT'S TO USE YOUR CABEZA This is just like which oil is best another topic that is all in the perception of the user. Alleyoop Nope that's not going to work, this Shell station is in town right by one of the busiest interstates in the country Int 40 and besides the gas Shell brings to stations in Chicago is the same Shell gas company that visits Arkieland, that dog won't hunt. Shell is Shell and if they're gas is quality then it needs no inspections of any kind.
Snowblower? How much seafoam is in it? Again go buy gas in "any" station in Chicago, put it in a tightly sealed can or see through jar, sit in in the garage for 6 months and watch it separate and some water be left in the bottom of the container. BTW the day I bought the Shell with the pint of water I paid $3.59 per gallon and I didn't pay for water, had I not had my head in my lower region I could have bought real gas for $3.29 per gallon and that's no perception, it's a reality.

Never heard so much to do about nothing, just about every gas station their blends have Ethanol up to 10%. On my trike been using Shell over 40 years in my cars and now my trike. I have YET to have to clean my carb for anything, I do use seafoam 1 oz per gallon and every gallon not just once every other time. I pour 4 1/2 oz of seafoam in my 5 gallon gas can and then fill it with 4 1/2 gallon of gas. Been doing this since june of 2009 when I got the trike and not one bit of a problem. As a matter of fact the original fuel lines and vacuum lines are still on there and I have almost 11,000 miles on it. The ones that get bit are the ones that go to the cheap gas stations, think, why do you think their gas is much cheaper than the well known brands Its the mixture they use, you get what you pay for. Alleyoop Went to my local Shell this past summer, almost ended up walking! Even told you about, it drained tank and scooter and got nearly a pint of water out of a 3 gallon tank, they use ethanol. (puke)Only reason I stopped there is because I wasn't paying attention to the fuel gauge and passed by the "real" gas station that doesn't sell the watered down gas.
I only put a tad of seafoam in maybe 3 times a year, throw it away, use ethanol Shell for a year and then report back and let us know how she's doing and don't let your tools rust so they'll be handy to clean the gunk out of that old carb! Especially let it sit for the winter with that good old whisky blend gas and see how she acts when spring comes, and don't use any seafoam either. Corn has a lot of good uses, gas isn't one of them.
Also just for kicks put one gallon of Shell in a gas can this fall, no additives, just sit it on the shelf in the garage, wait to say April, open it up, take a good smell of it, poor it out slowly into something glass that you can see through, watch what you find in the bottom, do the same with a gallon of non-ethanol gas if you can find any at all and compare. 40 years ago Shell sold real gas and you remember this too, didn't need seafoam then cause you weren't worried about water or corn.
Only corn you used was to eat and be merry with!

I'll add another thing that I dislike. Having threads on what do I need to do to this or that and never a mention of what kind, cc, engine, etc. Now how many threads do I move because folks can't put the right question in the right place even when the category says a certain size and type? JR atm50 with a 50mm bbk if this post was a shot at me. Had it been a shot at you I would have quoted you. My reply was as a reference as to what I don't like just and you made a statement about people not finishing a thread. I see the two as the same.
