Thanks folks but again I want to stress a good forum is made up of people like the members here who add knowledge, fun, good conversation and most of all friendship.
Even though it takes time to make a forum as far as the outlay especially with a new software format like the new V5 we are on it's the people here that make this forum special.
I hope to be able to post more soon and again Doug and I have plans for more things and we appreciate your patience and support in doing these things.

That has a lot to do with all forums, just like you said the feel of it. When members are posting it shows just how much interest and how much people enjoy where they are at. Yes we got some great sponsor/vendors here and they just help make it feel like home.
Hopefully soon I can get back to adding more material in the tech section and also our hope is to start a archive section with some of the best tech help posts form the mother forum Scootdawg. We're planning a video section and also a news letter.
Thanks all of you for your support.

I was reading at another forum actually a scooter forum where a person was talking about other dying scooter forums. This person in their own words and arrogance made this statement and even went as far as to say if he was posting on any of these dying forums they would be doing fine and not in that position.
Now I do look at what is called the forum analytics from time to time just to see things and how the forums are doing. One can always tells things like, it's springtime and people are riding and having a good time, not posting on a forum or even like now old man winter is here, too cold to ride fro most and people are doing things to their scooter in the slow riding season. Weather and the seasons do play a part on activity on a outdoor type forum.
So I decided just for the heck of it I would just compare this forum as far as members, threads and posting and I'll be the first to tell you I was very surprised at the numbers. I never dreamed this would be the case in particular one number, never compared before, never thought of it until the post I mentioned.
So here are The Ride's current numbers:
Total Threads: 4,807 Total Posts: 54,858 Total Members 1605 Forum age 0 Years, 9 Months, and 29 Days
Other Scooter Forum:
Total Topics: 6,125 - Total Posts: 53,376 Total Members: 6,279 Forums age 3 Years, 9 months
Less that a year old, less than 2k in members but 1482 more posts that a forum that is nearly 4 years old that has over 6k in membership? Dying? Sorry I just can't see it? And we need someone else to come help boost the forum activity here because in less that a year we have surpassed total posting and may actually pass them in threads by the time this forum is a year old?
As I said I never dreamed this myself until I looked at these numbers and all I can say is;
WHAT A GO PEOPLE OF THE RIDE!
All of you have made this happen and I SALUTE YOU ALL.

Trying to think back to my Ramsey classes. I think to help your credit look better you will want to accept an offer for a major cc. But make sure there's no annual charge or finance charge on your purchases. I know one of mine is basically free if I pay it off; the other charges I think a pitzy percentage for charges (only comes to a couple bucks on big-charge months, which is why it's only used for Amazon and catalogs and shipping) Charge some little something each month, like a gas fill-up. Pay it off right away. Helps establish your good credit. Another thing, not that I'm nagging. But if you're wanting to save on money, can you cut the satellite? Unless your broadcast tv just really stinks in your area, I don't see a lot of need for that expense when you've got a Netflix account. Don't most tv shows end up available there? If you cut satellite, that's an extra hundred each month you can pay towards the Rebel, then the truck. Otherwise looks like you're living pretty tight already. Esp putting away into savings--good to have that to fall back on, just in case. >'Kat Also one can easily cut the phone in half, with that kind of bill you're getting all the extras on it, net, text, etc. Still plans out there tax and all for under $40 a month. If you qualify for Food Stamps you will get a free phone but not with all the extras. Lots of them out there, some even put flyers at stores. blogs.investors.com/click/index.php/home/60-tech/2284-got-food-stamps-get-free-sprint-wireless-services
Two people on a 4 week month = $50 a week? I do all the grocery buying for a family of 5, I'm retired and even with sale shopping, coupons, etc. I know that even two people aren't eating very well on $50 a week unless you're on Food Stamps? At your SS rate I know that you would qualify for a minimum amount but not too much.
If you're on SSDI then you don't qualify for medicare for two years and your wife is left out on it anyway.
Lots of ways to stretch a dollar and make it on your own.
Friends? Yes I have a lot of friends that would help me if I was in need but I learned form my family a long time ago to take care of myself and when the chips are down and you need a real friend family is where you go, it goes with the saying blood is thicker than water.
I've seen to many of what one call friends be like the "old beer drinking buddies" got beer ya got buddies, run out of beer and you're by yourself.

Oh dear sweet mercy. I couldn't stand either show, so I pass on this one. >'Kat Two things, if you even watched the re-runs as a child you're telling your age because these were all made starting 1922 through the 30's depression era and ended in 1942. Some others tried to make success of it after that but really didn't do much.
Alfalfa was Carl Switzer and was shot to death at age 31.
Only a few are still alive of any era of the series:

Spanky was also a popular one along with Darla and there is no choice here other than Alfalfa, Urkel? Yuck!

Outstanding. BTW, you wouldn't know just how much of that 12 gauge wire he used in the stator upgrade? Thanks. If memory serves me correct he did the R/R output wire to the battery and all the fan wiring and when he put HID's on he used it there also. Even though one doesn't need to use wire that is too big in the science of electricity one thing is always true, it can be too small but never too big.
