So its not wanting to idle after warm? Maybe there is a vacuum leak somewhere, check all vacuum lines.
I recently had the issue of once warm it would die at any stop, turned out to be a vacuum line from the intake to the petcock was broken

Oh and by the way Maggie, the kick starter IS reliable.. if you keep the bolt tightened correctly.... getting it tightened correctly can be an issue though. I do have a battery in my scoot but I'm thinking its fried, o have kicked it to start for over a year and no issues, that's two engines with only kicking it and its fine... just make sure you buy a longer bolt and a nut and tighten that thing down good and you wont have to worry. Others will say differently tho

Actually went and looked at that scoot, the Guy had it on Craig's list as a 250cc.
He probably changed it when I told him it was a 150. How much you get it for?
Anyways, the card needs to be cleaned and made sure there is no old gas in it. Take it out and take everything apart, just don't loose a screw or spring, and clean everything with either a bit of gas or alcohol, make sure the rubber diaphragm has no tears and isn't too hard. Put it all back together and that should help with most issues.
I don't remember all that was wrong with it, doesn't it have a toggle switch under the seat or something?

I was under that impression too, I think that is part of what it does. But I did look it up and it reduces the nox

catalytic converters do the same, yes.
I'm checking on the emissions reduced by both so I can give a better argument hold on lol
EDIT-- ok so it would be a good reducer for cold starts and would reduce emissions further than the tiny catalytic converters on bikes. Noons has tested it probably lol, I wish I had the equipment to test it.... I would do it for all of us

So I found out how and why dieselexhast fluid works and am just wondering why cars don't have something similar. why wouldn't a car, the thing there are trillions of , have a chemical additives to reduce the emissions the same as a diesel engine?
Get rid of some of the NOX and CO2, especially cause these engines (scooters and motorcycles in general) do emit more than a car per gallon of certain things

Do you have anything like video codec lacks installed? If so a setting in them cause that some times, I don't remember which one but I had the same issue before and I reinstalled windows.... later reinstalled the codec pack and found it to be that and reset all settings to default and it was better

Exactly justbugn. I think having it makes you a target, something to test your skills on. But I figured that would lead to a whole new category of discussion lol

Running too many antivirus/ anti spyware causes conflicts and may make then not work correctly or make then slow down your computer to a crawl.
Honestly, I have installed antivirus software a few times in the past 2 years but always remove them after a scan. A little about my downloading habbits before I tell you the results of the scans from MANY antivirus software's.... I download from wherever has what I'm looking for, typically a very dodgy looking website that after downloading I find virus claims or "fraud" claims...
After all of the dodgy places I've found stuff and installed stuff from I STILL come up clean on viruses aand spyware. In the 4 years I had zone alarm I was alerted of viruses daily... installing and scanning then uninstalling, not one virus in 2 years ... I think that's something to be aware of

Exactly, many "high tech computer repair" places have no idea what typical issues, for the computers they are working on, are. Im 23 and have been working on computers older than me from when I was 11, but I don't have any certifications so no one will hire me. Lol
Yes yes, back on topic lol

Typically when I see that with computers it needs a cleaning... the heat sink gets dusty and clogged with fuzz, sometimes its files that need to be cleaned, use ccleaner or the like to clear all old files and cookies. Maybe delete any older files that you don't use any more if more than 70% of your hdd capacity is used. If none of the above works the heat transfer paste may be old and dried out and would be good to replace it. (After a certain amount of heat cycles it dries out and doesn't work as well) I work on computers doing this stuff. WWW.h3nrygocrazy.info
