Yeah, screw the conversion kits, no way I would use a hub motor at their current stage.
Convert the belt to either a chain or a 1:1 belt drive removing all unneeded weight (no clutch needed, no variator needed, no rotor or stator needed. ) switch the final drive gears to more 1:1.

Always hold your spot... middle of the lane. If you don't they are likely to think you are in the bike lane or on the shoulder and not try to move out of the lane causing a real issue. ( as said before)
Sometimes I stay in the left 3rd of the lane to make sure they have to change lanes to pass

Didn't think you lacked knowledge about the electronics. Just figured I would point out the obvious places to start I'm just baffled about the many reported water related issues because my experience with oceans of rain water lol. (I forgot for a minute we are not on sd)

I have driven through water deep enough to submerge my clutch... how do you guys have so many electrical issues
Have you tried disconnecting the wires at the clips and plugging em all back in? Maybe add some dielectric grease or something to keep moisture out later if it does fix it. Typically with the sealed electronics like the cdi and stuff its just a connection issue (inside sometimes, from working with other electronics)
I am no pro but I have worked on other electronics like laptops and computers that have been stored in the rain and dropped in pools.....

I'm a derp in thinking to keep the drive system... its a waste of energy.
Caution.... theory in this thread! Lets assume the circumference of the tire is 40 inches... at 2000 rpm that's about 75mph.... if I did the math right So if you get a 3400rpm Max motor ( you would never be able to reach that if its not greared down) then you may be able to make 65-70mph without much issue. As long as there is enough bhp to push it against the wind resistance

Well, anyone have an idea of what HP or Watts and rpms would be equivalent to a 150cc gy6?
I assumed i could find a 11 HP DC motor that could push 10,000 rpm but that seems impossible without going industrial sized... Now I'm assuming electric HP is worth a bit more than gas and that I could change the final drive gears to make it take off and drive at lower rpms so maybe 3400rpm may be enough.... still want 7000rpm tho lol
(My idea is to remove the motor but leave the mount and swing arm and most of the drive system)

Arizona, you have to file for an abandoned title in this situation. You must get a mvr (motor vehicle report) and send the last registered owner a letter stating intent and all the vehicle info. They may reply with a notarized letter stating they want nothing to do with it and whoever currently has the vehicle can register it. They may also just ignore the letter and it will be at least 3 weeks to get the title or they can deny the letter and you can take it unopened to the DMV to get things done

Well some times -his engine has a metal grind sound after a kick, I assume the gear is staying engaged for some reason but can't figure out why. Everything is greased and free moving. Only reproducable issue is kicking it over and releasing imidiatly after tdc it will catch and pull the kick starter with it (just so happens that's all it needs to start so I usually stop there and it happens a bit)

Yup, but not where you would expect them to strip (outside of the shaft) this stripped the triangular gear inside. I am afraid it may happen again! What can be the cause?

When I added on to my house I bought 2 extra squares of shingles from same lot so if I need repairs down the road the shingles will match in color and style. Aswell as age!. And awesome calculator

This is supposed to be a house, so I expect some permits and engineers, trying to get as many ideas as I can with the dots and crosses. I'm using you! Haha (if u have seen "up" say the I'm using you! In the same tone the dog says "I smell you!") Anyways, it would have nice sized collumns in the middle somewhere as well as nice sized cross beams, think office building with the slanted roof... Something like this but 30'x30' and way less slant lol i.ebayimg.com/t/4X10-SLANT-ROOF-SHED-26-GARDEN-WOOD-SHED-PLANS-ON-CD-/00/$(KGrHqZ,!lQE3Hw50kcRBN2VysIl(g~~_35.JPG[/img]

Well, I'm exploring my possibilities with the roof, the trusses are the only thing I have priced so far.
A "flat roof" with a 2/12 angle would be less work and less cash, I assume. Plus I'm in Arizona, not much snow here lol. Just a lot of wind and heavy rain/ hail (hence my idea of spray foam top layer, protects from hail damage to the wood)
