try using an impact socket. I tried that and it didn't work, however my compressor is not very big and doesn't provide a lot of power for an impact wrench. I can't afford a bigger compressor, or an electric impact wrench right now.

Does anyone know the best way to free a stuck clutch bolt? Not even my impact wrench will break it free. It feels like it might as well be welded to the clutch bell!

I just saw on the news that the guy shot his girlfriend in the head in front of her son as they left the restaurant. She had just attended her son's middle school graduation. I hope the dude fries! I just can't believe this happened, and that me and my little TaoTao almost ended up as hood ornaments on the *******'s truck!

I was driving my scooter back from dialysis and I stopped for gas. As I was finishing my fill up, I heard two gunshots from a couple buildings over. A guy had shot and killed a woman in a restaurant parking lot less than half a block over. Then as I was leaving, I was nearly run off the road by the murderer as he was running from the police! Fortunately no one else was hurt and they caught the guy on the other side of town. This was the first murder we have had in two years and I was WAY to close for comfort!

I'm thinking of doing an 80cc BBK on my T3. I'm fairly mechanically inclined, but I've never rebuilt the top end of an engine before. Is there anything specific that I need to look out for, and are there any other parts that I must add along with the BBK? My current upgrades are listed in my signature. Also, can the BBK be done while the engine is still on the bike?

I had an accident six years ago when I was moving over to let an ambulance go by. I hit some loose gravel and ended up going over the handlebars at 30mph. I broke my wrist and if I didn't have my full face helmet on, I wouldn't have much of a face left. I still feel a little uneasy when an ambulance is coming up behind me. Like everyone else has said, it's perfectly normal to have some fear after an accident.Did that ambulance stop?? It did. They called dispatch to send another unit to their original call, and turned around and picked me up. The paramedic who was driving said I flew through the air a good 20 feet before hitting the ground on my face and sliding another 10 feet! I still have a scar on my right arm from the road rash.

Today I ran out of fuel and pushed it home. Then I changed the fuel and vac lines and accidentally splattered gasoline in my face. After that I changed my needle setting. After all that mess, it runs better .

I was stopped once in Indianapolis while riding my old Tank 50cc for not having a license plate. The cop kept saying it was a motorcycle and I needed plate, registration, ins, etc, and he kept saying I needed a MC endorsement on my license. I gave him a copy of the Indiana moped laws, and the MCO of the bike stating that it was under 50cc and was rated for only 25mph. He was so bloody cocky that he wouldn't admit he was wrong, but he still let me go. I saw him around several more times, and he never bothered me again.

In Indiana, under 50cc you don't need anything except a DL or state ID card and if your under 18 you have to wear a helmet and eye protection. It's also supposed to only go 25 mph, but in my area that's rarely, if ever enforced. I was doing almost 40 the other day, and a cop came up behind me. He just drove along behind me and didn't seem to give a hoot that I was going 15 mph over the "moped" speed limit.

I found out today that the guy got busted driving the scooter drunk, and the cop recognized it as a 125. He's in jail and the scoot is in the impound lot.

Here is my modified CVT cover. I outlined the edge of the cut with blue to match the body of the scooter. Attachments:

I successfully opened up the CVT cover over the clutch bell. Didn't even damage the paint . I'll post pics tomorrow when it''s light.
