I'm learning, remember I'm a noob to scooters. You've been very helpful.

Thanks for the input posters. I think looking at Kymco worldwide gave me other models too. Anyways it seems here it's the 200i and LX. $200 price difference and I think it's just trim that does it.

I don't think milk crates are uncool, I'm the type that doesn't give a crap what others think about looks or keepin up with the jones's. Everybody has different opinions and none are wrong.

FI or carb?

Given a choice what would most choose. I've had a lot of issues with small engines the last few years regarding fuel/carb issues. Here where I live there's definitely a winter time when scoots do not get ridden and they can sit for a couple of months. Would FI solve that issue, with cars its never an issue with FI. What are your thoughts?

Can anyone explain the difference in models for this bike? The specs all read the same online for all 3 models. There's an I, then ii, then Ic[?]. I like that it's fuel injected and is a tad bigger than a 150.

I sure do like the price on that nitro 150, Lance 150 is appealing too both made by sym. Big issue for me is there's no local dealers for service or parts and would have to be shipped to me. Thanks for the link psycho.

A lot of folks even former auto techs do not like to work on stuff unless it's broke. Not everyone's 1st love is being greasy in the shop.

Idle set too low, dirty air filter, choke not being used correctly. Might not hurt to run some techron cleaner through it, 4 stroke only.

Here most m/c safety course's offer their own bikes to use, usually 250 jap bikes. Is a class c a reg DL in PA? I'm afraid if you only have a class c permit then the law is clear and no gray area to it. I can't imagine a cop giving you a ticket though if you explained it to him and were up to snuff with your attitude and ins etc......................Don't be speeding.
