especially if you have 3 clutch assemblies, 2 contra springs, 3 different roller weights and a set of sliders. ugh! i should have just left it alone but nooo the slow acceleration was starting to bother me. i've had my cvt off 5 times in the last 2 days and performance is worse. didn't bother to take any notes... oops. i'm still a little clueless when it comes to the springs. the last test ride had my rpm's up to 8700 and i was moving at a crawl, lol. going to increase the weights and if that doesn't give me what i am looking for then i am going to try and put it back the way it was if i can remember. 1 or 2 more times taking the cover off and hopefully i am done. i'll never mess with the clutch springs again without taking detailed notes.

Keep doing it, it gets easy once you get it right once. I always use Dr pulley sliders and have several different weights all in the cases marked with grams. I run all my 50cc scoots with 5 gram sliders on stock variators and 6 gram sliders with koso or performance variators I run 9 to 9.5 grams with koso variators and 1.5k torque spring 7 to 7.5 gram sliders stock variator 1.5k spring and I always use 1k or stock clutch springs and never go over 1.5k on the torque spring tears up belts and awful to compress to change belts or weights. These are my formulas for the 50cc's. The 150s seem to run great with 12 gram weights stock. I'm running 11 and 13 gram mixed with a 1.5k spring had to lower the weights and add the spring to get my rpms up after the gear change.

hopefully i don't have to do it again. rpm's are now at 7200 on take off which is perfect imo. i didn't check top speed so if that hasn't changed then i'm done. regardless i'm done messing with it for today.
