a woman has this scoot at a local shop but not running. Shop mech say he had it running but would die after several trys. He just wants it out of his hair, gave me the ladies Ph# and I agreed to take a chance and buy it. So now its my headache for $100.00. So now to try my no mech exp. and have a project toy. I dont think there is not that much wrong. It is a roketa so parts should not be that hard to get. There is only 750 miles on it. It is an 08. So after I give it my own pdi I will no doubt need some help here to bolster my limited mech exp. I may get lucky for a change. obe

what would be the pro's or con's for the two wheels up front leaning verses 2 in rear stationary like the viking which I like. ice bear has the 150-1 but I dont see it on rapid repairs add. Thanks for any replys. denali

Thank you urban for the monetary offer but no need. The temp here will be going up in the 60's by sunday so most of the snow will melt. They will be able to get to the acorns which they like. I have gigantic oaks at the rear of my property. Next year I am going to rake some and put in buckets for severe times during the winter for them. Yes they will get pretty tame when they know free hands out are here for them, sounds almost like some people in this country. But thats another sore spot for me. Anyway while I was at it I got some bird feed and suet for the local bird population. I like having them around, does wonder for bug control in summer.

Here in eastern Pa. we have had some cold and snow more than usual. animals are having a hard time finding feed. They browse everthing above ground, thats why I have all my shubbery fenced. Last night several deer walked right up on my deck looking for food. I have some artificial garland around my rail, I guess they thought they eat that too.. So today I will buy some corn from local farmer to put out. Not as much as I would like, since I cant afford to feed this herd of 10 or so of deer but maybe help them out a little. I do hunt but getting one of these is like shooting ducks in a barrel. OBE

Ok Alley, picking the trike up would be out of the ?. I am sure jim can do about anything that needs done, however what I cant do I have a friend that works full time in a motorcycle and scooter shop that does work on the side at a very reasonable rate than the shop rate. What would be done other than putting on 205-65-10 tires. I understand you did that and I believe it gives you an extra few mph.

Thanks gentlemen for the replys. If I decide to get one it will be from rapid repair. I would however like to make it a wee bit faster without going overboard. Like to be able to cruise at 50 but not at wot. Take care. obe

Thinking of getting an ice bear pst 150-8 viking. I know there were problems with reverse which they stopped making. Have they done any upgrades to this model? I would like to think they have ironed out any other problems by this time. Any info or comments are most welcome. Thanks in advance. Obe
