a woman has this scoot at a local shop but not running. Shop mech say he had it running but would die after several trys. He just wants it out of his hair, gave me the ladies Ph# and I agreed to take a chance and buy it. So now its my headache for $100.00. So now to try my no mech exp. and have a project toy. I dont think there is not that much wrong. It is a roketa so parts should not be that hard to get. There is only 750 miles on it. It is an 08. So after I give it my own pdi I will no doubt need some help here to bolster my limited mech exp. I may get lucky for a change. obe

First thing after basic PDI, set your valves, clean your carburetor really well, then follow Alleyoop's tuning instructions.

First thing after basic PDI, set your valves, clean your carburetor really well, then follow Alleyoop's tuning instructions. Absolutely right! And, for $100 you really can't go wrong! Probably with the "usual" Chinese "fixes" we all do, you'll have a swell scooter for very little money! Enjoy, and ride safe! Leo in Texas
