howdy and all the best on the health issues. some of those had me doing bucket list stuff also this summer. it helped me to look into some "alternative" stuff.

howdy yup a wider tire does look better but most back fenders hang down so low that you really can't notice that unless looking for that specifically

howdy, i see you are a fiddler and like to do these things. the first question is why? the extra rubber on the ground will not help you in any way i can see. if you still want to do this , you need to see if there is any interference area where the current sidewall of the tire is near a fixed part of the scooter. that may be a limitation. second to consider is the contact patch of the wider tire. it may cause the center of the tread to bulge outward and change the handling. in that case you are gaining nothing by the wider tire? if your intent is to gain speed you can go to a 70 ratio instead of the 60?. just my ramblin'.

howdy, just a thought about the 100,000 suggested value. the original 5,000 plus at the time of first purchase is about the same value as the estimated value today. what equivalent new muscle car could you buy today for about the same 100,000?

howdy and welcome to the forum. some one will respond with help for you that i can not provide. where are you located? it may be easier to locate an engine from a wrecked scooter and save this one for parts.

howdy, i'll make a silly suggestion as to why the starter does not seem to work. that electric line at the brake lever may be the one which muct be connected to relay power to the starter selenoid? that and the sidestand not being retracted?

howdy and good to hear from you after a time and what the solution was. i'm amazed at how many motorcycles/scooters are on the road in horrendous weather that happens in england. where are you? i was all around london and in the dublin area of s. ireland about two months ago. actually i like the country.

howdy and good luck with all the up-grades. i would mention that the temps you measure are good to know BUT you need to be aware of where you are measuring as that will make incredible difference as to the reading.
