How's it going I'm in need o a New rear tire and would like to know how wide I can go and it still fit right on my 13inch rim . The regular size is 130/60/13

howdy, i see you are a fiddler and like to do these things. the first question is why? the extra rubber on the ground will not help you in any way i can see. if you still want to do this , you need to see if there is any interference area where the current sidewall of the tire is near a fixed part of the scooter. that may be a limitation. second to consider is the contact patch of the wider tire. it may cause the center of the tread to bulge outward and change the handling. in that case you are gaining nothing by the wider tire? if your intent is to gain speed you can go to a 70 ratio instead of the 60?. just my ramblin'.

Depends on how much space you have around the tire, and how wide is your rim. Most companies don't give you the actual sizes. Dunlop does, but the only 13" tires are www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/tire-catalog/road/scooter/sx01/130/70-13 : 3.5" wide rim, 5.04" wide, 20.16" diameter, can use 3"- 4" rim 150/70-13 : 4.0" wide rim, 5.75" wide, 21.18" diameter, can use 3.5"- 4.5" rim Ah... Kenda: rim width matters, but they don't post. Diameter and width: K761 130/60-13 19.3" 4.8" K761 140/60-13 19.6" 5.3" K413 130/60-13 19.3" 5" K413 140/60-13 20.2" 5.2 K433/K434 150/70-13 21.3" 5.9" etc.. |

I like the looks of a wide back tire , that's all . It dosent look like I have enough room to go much wider anyway . It may fit a 140 but not sure . I think the rim is 3.5 inch

howdy yup a wider tire does look better but most back fenders hang down so low that you really can't notice that unless looking for that specifically
